Title: Pretty Fricken Awesome!

Toast_Ninja - April 2, 2006 10:29 PM (GMT)
This was my second anime-con, Ohayocon 06 being my first. Some of my favorites were Steve Conte in concert, the unrestricted 'Your Favorite Anime Sucks' and watching a whole lot of Elfen Lied.

Ninjas rock!!

I was really glad the way this turned out! Truthfully, I was not expecting too much out of this con..but I enede dup having a blast.
I really liked Con suite..you guys always kept it nice and supplied with caffine for people like me. And although judging It hought could have been better the cosplay competition ran well and smoothly, another great point I liked. I thought it was pretty awsome that ecveryone was nice about our little Trigun Gender Bending skit even though we came up with it in under ten minuets XDDDD;
Staff seemed..at least for the events I went to where always on the ball which is ALWAYS a good thing.

If this con happens again next year..which I hope it will I will surely come back again ^_^.

BearFrog - April 3, 2006 12:08 AM (GMT)
This was my first con, and luckily it didn't suck. In fact, it was probably one of the most fun weekends of my life and and can't wait to go to another one. I want to thank Anime Punch for making my first con experience a great one.

yes I was pretty random, bet the host did expect em to hug him while he was trying to get the cosplayers off his stage, or that I would sit on the person lap who stole my badge till I got it back ^<^

ChibiJaime - April 3, 2006 04:10 AM (GMT)
I second all the "awesome con" things. I've been conventioning since 1999, when I had my first weekend at SugoiCon... and this brought back a lot of good memories. Kudos!

Crank - April 3, 2006 04:53 AM (GMT)
I had a great time at the con. Thanks for a great weekend.

anbu_ninja01 - April 3, 2006 01:03 PM (GMT)

itachi_lover - April 3, 2006 01:33 PM (GMT)
This was my 3rd con. and it was awsome! unforchintly I'm stuck at school now, almost falling asleep in all my classes.

Mishikotoko - April 3, 2006 02:50 PM (GMT)
anbu_ninja01, you did fine. ^_^

As for the gender Bending trigun, I have to say it was the best name for a skit. XP
I almost laughed each time I said it...lol

Saki, nice getting to meet you finally.

this was my second con, and it was so much better than youma con I went to last year xD, and my costume was way better than my last one too, >>

anyways~! 8D man, being back in the 'real world' sucks, I can't wait for next year's con! ^.^ *dances*

I didn't get to see the main cosplay, how'd it go? I had a six hour drive back to michigan, so I had to leave early..I'd waited in line and everything! *dies*

but yeah, just wanted everyone to know, you guys made it the best con ever!

Mishikotoko - April 3, 2006 08:14 PM (GMT)
The main Cosplay went well.
Eveything worked out, and it was recorded on video. In fact people are working on getting it up so everyone can view it.

Miccy - April 3, 2006 08:51 PM (GMT)
This con rocked coz I knew so many people at it. ^_^ <33

And I loved the people.
Specifically all the people that hung out with me most the time. xD There was NEVER a daul moment.

Mishikotoko - April 4, 2006 12:23 AM (GMT)
a dull moment around you.....I don't think so.

MadMonkD - April 4, 2006 03:00 AM (GMT)
I want to say a thank you and very well done indeed, to the Con Staff for being extremely friendly and helpful. Ive been to many a con where entropy ensued, (except for the occasional hiccup, which is understandable), the Staff handled it to the best of their ability. Overall it looks like everyone had a blast, myself included. Made some new friends, caught up to a few I havent seen in a few months. The Dealer's room was very good, and plenty to choose from, The Rave, was outstanding, the music was awesome. Videogaming was topnotch. The DJ at the Videogaming area kept up the mood with high energy music during the day. The band at the main atrium was always cool and the RBG was freaking amazing on late saturday night!

Hope to be back next year for more fun and adventure. just my :2cents:

Cheese Ninja - April 4, 2006 04:02 AM (GMT)
This was my second anime-con, Ohayocon 06 being my first. Truthfully, I was not expecting too much out of this con...but I ended up having a fair bit of fun, and I raided the green room on the last day before it got cleaned for a ton of cheese.

At least this time I managed to see 2 Main Programming events, compared to 0 at Ohayocon. And maybe as many as 6 panels, compared to 2 at Ohayocon. At least this time I watched several hours of videos, compared to a half-hour at Ohayocon. At both conventions I had no interest/awareness of gaming/artists/dealers and very little of cosplayers.

It might be too early to think this, but I should either stop going to cons or get a bit more involved in the fun stuff at them...

rpb3000 - April 4, 2006 01:54 PM (GMT)
This con just toppled Ohayocon '04 as the best con I've ever been to. The only way it could've been better for me is if I was able to be in about 10 places at once to see everything that was going on!! (as it was, most the time I was in at least 3 places at once. Figure that one out :-P)

Already did...you used a time watch, to set time back, so you could be in 3 places at once.

I loved Anime Punch. For me, it was far more exciting, and interesting than conventions which I had been to previously.

rpb3000 - April 4, 2006 03:25 PM (GMT)
Oh god, if I had a time watch, I'd STILL be at the convention ^_~

I do not think anyone had put it into the FTP, but I can check for you.
As for directly on the site, I don't think our web designer got to that with the rush we had for Fieldcon stuff to be put up.
