Bob Papenbrook Dies (2006-03-26 12:43:20)
Voice actor Bob Papenbrook died March 17 at the age of 50. He did voices for Cowboy Bebop, Digimon: The Movie, and Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers, as well as over 200 movies, TV shows, videogames, and commercials. Thanks to Ryan Clark for the information. Source: Variety [ discuss (4 posts) ]
Im sure you all known him from various roles such as J from Heat Guy J, Tenchi's Grandpa in the Tenchi series, Rito Repulsa from Power Rangers, and Lafarga from Rayearth, my favorite CLAMP anime, and it had a good dub too.

Bob voiced Rito Repulsa in Power Rangers. NOT Rita Repulsa. Rita is voiced by Barbard Goodson. Rito is Rita's brother in PR.
Tenchi's grandpa's name is Yosho in Tenchi. He goes by another name as well.

I can't remember if Yosho's persona even had a major role in the upcoming OVA's. I don't think he's in it past the first, but it's been awhile that i've seen the newer OVA's.

I can't remember if Yosho's persona even had a major role in the upcoming OVA's. I don't think he's in it past the first, but it's been awhile that i've seen the newer OVA's.

Well then I guess that would answer the question who would do his voice now. Unless the other VA is no longer with us as well.
