I'm not that good at inking yet, but my pencil kinda was being stuborn, and wouldn't erase very well...
Anyway, this is what the picture is:
Drawn with pencil, then inked with pen.
I'm the pirate, on the left.
Niki is the ninja on the right.

What I Like About The Picture:
My pirate outfit
The way the pirate(me) is standing
Both shoes.
My weird shading technique.
What I Think My Flaws In This Picture Are:
The pencil lines that are showing though.
How even though I tried not to the Niki still looks kinda Naruto-ish.
I messed up on Niki's right arm, & the bottom of the left boot.
Niki's shorts look weird. |
I'm pretty open to whatever you guys have to throw at me about it, don't like it, like it, whichever.
I wanna know your opinions. :)

I actually really like the style! Aside from that one girl who does the mascots really well, this might be my favorite posted art thus far! Them being original characters is a plus as well.

I like it, but it does seem a little naruto-ish.
edit: But I am a naruto fan so I kinda like the naruto-ish style.

I disagree. The girls may be ninjas, but they don't look like the naruto kind, and also they are in a completely different style. Naruto uses a very shonen asthetic, where as these are more in a shojo-manga one that rarely even makes it into anime (only in things like super-gals).
It's very cool and a lot more pretty than anything in Naruto.

They are a different style, I agree, but its more of the headband.
Now of days its kind of hard for me to invision a ninja without thinking Naruto, but ninja's do have the thingy over their faces.
I was going to put her in all black, w/o the clothesness, but like, it wouldn't have been so sexy. x3; lol
