here's the place for crazy ideas for the con.

We will definatly have Karaoke, and that sounds like it could be a fun panel! I'll have to add that too the list!

What about a fanfic contest? Judges well, judge which fanfictions are the best by writting style and creativity. I think a fanfic contest would be cool.

A Ramen eating contest! See who can eat the most ramn in a desiginated time period... yum ramen...

Wouldnt the fan fic contest take a while since that IS alot of reading? Not trying to put it down, just saying.

What about reenacting favorite scenes from anime? Imagine seeing the "End of Evangelion" performed by a bunch of Sailor Moon cosplayers. Alternatively, we could show a short clip from some show and than have a group of people reenact it on the spot.

And if a character on the screen has a huge sweatdrop or has the veins on his/her forehead popping, they would have to find a way to show this visually.

actually someone else has already suggested a fanfiction contest, which we will have. All submissions will have to be prior to the convention.

As for scene re-enacting, I think that would be an excellent event for the open-mic area!

OK, here's another idea, tell me what you think. How about a poker table (you know, the card game for the rest of us). I know it's not exactly anime related (although we could play with anime themed playing cards) but... You know while the kids are off playing Yu-Gi-Oh (no offense), those of us who don't play TCGs could enjoy a relaxing round of poker. We won't even have to play for real money.
So, what do you think?

Sure. we can play for pocky. But when my deal comes up we're NOT playing that damn "Texas Hold'em" shit. We'll play poker that ISN'T a fad. It's more fun to play for silver though....

What about a con suite, to just have a room to relax in, be full of food, and hide from scary people...

I think we should have a art contest between the people on the forum.We draw pics then get the best and bring it to the convention and people vote on it.

So, what you're saying is everyone draw a piccy, and then we vote for the top three or something and have people at the con vote on the best? Wouldn't that be kinda exclusive though? :/

InuGothKid: We actually have an art contest game-show at the con. I'm not going to schedule any forum-people only oriented activities. It's fine if you want to arrange meet-ups of course, but I would probably wait until within a month of the con. Already planning to make badges and other things 8 months ahead of time isn't going to accomplish much in the long run.
