Will AP be having an art show/contest?

Did you look at the schedule? Did you read the art page?

Maybe I should xD;; I have a tendancy not to look at the main pages of cons due to Sugoi Con last year. They updated their website once and sinec then, I really got impatient with con webpages.

Our website tends to stay on top of things ^_^ It's your one-stop source for most AP info. Check there first, and if you can't find it, then it's the time to ask on the forums. Hooray for good websites!
