I was wondering what kind of rules and regulations there were regarding that which is described in the title. At Sugoi 2004, I was kinda disturbed that there were one or two tables selling some pretty nasty stuff, I'm talking about all the way to comics that had naked kids right on the cover. Now they were animated naked kids I'll grant you, but still I thought it was pretty bad stuff to have out when there are real kids walking around. in 2005 Sugoi cleaned up their act, and they were awarded the imaginary golden novelty star by your's truely.

So, with AP being the anti con, going against the man, and all that, I pose this question to you: Will AP expose underage attendees to that which is described in the title?

The answer to both is we won't try to. I mean, if I'm in the mens room doing my thing and a kid looks over, then there isn't a lot I can do, but I'm not going to wave it in the little guys face while shouting "bet you wish we had this don't you bitch! Yeah bitch, OWNED!!!"

Ok, ok. Seriously now, so you know, it's in the dealers contract that we have the right to make them hide things we find inappropriate, and we will try and make sure as little poisoning of young minds happens as possible.

Hell, I don't think we even have any hentai or doujinshi dealers. Though a few of the bigger DVD dealers might have a small selection of videos... I dunno.

Anyways that's all I ask, it seemed like at Sugoi 2004 the staff hardly made an attempt to do anything about it, though they claim to have asked them several times, I wasn't there all the time. It just really shouldn't have been all the way out on the end of the table like that.

I'm confident you'll be able to get hentai DVD's, though I am down because I'm a big doujinshi fan and I'm not sure we have any doujin dealers. So far none of the dealers have mentioned it, so either they are being shy about it, or we just don't have any.

I think there are one or two tables left to sell, anyone know any good doujinshi dealers?

I thnik the yaoi/yuri guy who let underagers buy was shut down with the mallet of whompass a while after sugoi 04 and acen 05.

Makes me sad that there's hardly any ;;-;; I need more doujins. Really. *stares at the pile in her room*

But yeah, all for people Who Dont Wanna See That, not having to see that. I'd suggest a more back room situation, secluded in a back corner but with so few H dealers it kinda doesnt matter.

Right, Zell_chan, our table was right next to the now famous yaoi man, and while I admit he was funny, gimmie a break! The worst part is, he gave me a hard time about not sharing the pizza we ordered, and I felt bad, then I realized he was selling, in his words, "Harry Potter's Butt" comics to people who hardly looked of age.

Don't worry babe, I've got all the Hentail you'll ever need RIGHT HERE ~points downwards~.

That guy is annoying... though not as annoying as Harry Potters pasty white butt!

I probally wont have much of a problem with Yaoi, or Yuri either.

I wonder will I be able to buy yaoi on my own...unlike at ohayocon were i had my friend buy it for me.............I'm like a month away from 18 (more like 26 on the start of AP) :unsure: Hope so I can't live without my yaoi...and Unforchinitly for me I'm going with a group of yaoi/shonen ai haters....other words...all guys that would prefer yuri/shojo ai.

I totally buy for minors, having just been in that position myself until a month ago. ^_^
