Should play final fantasy at convention

Final Fantasy isn't really a great group game. It's the sort of thing you can play just fine at home or in your hotel room - in which case whay even come to the con?

If people did get really into it, and everybody's shouting out their suggestions for what you should do, it could get kinda interesting. But not interesting enough. People who haven't played the game won't know what's going on unless they spend too much time watching people play it. And no matter what choices you make, nothing amazingly entertaining or vital to the outcome really happens.

Unlike say .... dating sims. Which we are totally having as a group event. Everybody can jump in to that at any time and pretty much know what's going on, and the responses to all the choiced you make can provide some very instant and interactive humor.

Fina; Fantasy doesn't quite have that, and while you're free to play it in your hotel room, and even gather as many people as you can cram in there with you for it, I don't think it's quite event status worthy.

the older ones have multiplayer

each controller is assigned different characters during battle.

I think we should definately have Final Fantasy available in the gaming rooms to play, but definately shouldn't make any events out of it. And limit the time that people can play it. Long solo games = annoyed people waiting to use the console.

You're right that we could have it, but I'm not convinced it's a good idea. If there's nobody waiting to use the console, then there's no problem. But I don't expect that to be the case very often. Better to have games that lend themselves to more people enjoying them.

If we get enough TV's and systems, we may verywell find ourselves scrapping for games to play! I would bring it, but no promises

If you really wanna play some sort of Final Fantasy, you can come down to the RBG room and watch me play Kingdom Hearts II for hour after hour... after hour... after hour...

or you could play Crystal Chronicles, dats a fun game

I would if I had a GameCube, but obviously KH II and FF CC aren't on the same system.

Well im bring KH: Final Mix,KH2,Final Fantasy XIII and A couple anime games bleach,Naruto, and things like that.
