anyone else played this rpg yet,yes i said it,a gundam RPG and surpisingly its actually a good one and its about time bandai does something good with gundam and im about 10 hours into the game and still having a good time and plus it has alot of MS from wing which is my favorite gundam series under Seed.

I saw this game, but I was unsure about it. How is the story? Is it aimed more at a younger or older audience? How is the battle system? Are the battles fun or do they get a little tedious after awhile?

Its seems like a tradtional rpg story and game spy calls it a serious story but i enjoy it,the battle system is pretty fun and im still having alot of fun just by training to get more money to mod my MS's and also has the armor core feel to it cause you can swap parts with other MS,change their color,and their name.

I figure i'll wait a few months and it may or maynot go down in price. Looks alright for an RPG in a gundam universe.

well thats the thing about it,its not in the gundam universe,its has nothing to do with any of the series,it has it own unquie story to it.

To me, if something deals with gundams it's in the Gundam Universe. Might be a whole Tenchi Muyo spin off where it's a different universe with a different story, but it's still in the end something in the gundam universe. *chuckles* Just is not part of the "offical" universe, whatever universe is the current one.

i was guessing you were talking about the orginal gundam universe,oh well still a fun game took me long enough but just got rx-79 took me 12 hours to recieve my first gundam

You apparently never heard of any of the >40 Super Robot Wars games...
Is this MS story game a tactical RPG by any chance?

Heard of them, just never played them. *chuckles* Is that the game with the mecha from other series fighting each other? Macross, Eva, Gundam and other mecha?

it more tradtional turn base,only way you could call it tactical is by the cusmotmizing options you can do on your mobile suit

Yeah, those'd be the ones. They're, by all accounts, pretty cool though I can't read well enough to verify and only one has been translated (SRW3 for SNES).

Atlus just announced that they are bringing over 2 of the Super Robot Wars games. I freaked out when I first saw the article. I could just picture the Big O fighting Eva units, but unfortunately it's just the games with original mecha designs only. I still might check it out though. Anyone played the two original mecha GBA SRW games? Those are the ones that Atlus is bringing over.
