Title: Hello.. Artists inbox on site is full
Description: I tried to mail a mascot art submission

MissCeleste - February 13, 2006 10:52 PM (GMT)
Hello there! My name is Stephanie, and I tried to mail in a sketch to your Ann and Penny mascot artists challenge for your convention and I got an email back from Mailer Dameon saying the artists submission email mailbox is full. I thought I would sign up here instead and post it to make sure it gets to the right person. ;)

Sorry about the grainy look to the scan.. my scanner is garbage and doesn't pick up lighter colors or subtle shading.. since there outfits are white.. it er.. doesn't pick up ALOT of the coloring thats on the original. I'm going to make cleaner versions of these images in a few diff. poses and such.. maybe I can just send the originals to the person who sent out the challenge, so you guys can use em for whatever you want. I also had some questions about Ann and Penny that I'd like to ask from whoever created there descriptions, so if anyone can tell me who I should email alternatively, or when the inbox is no longer full for artists trying to participate that'd be great! :france:

It's full.

Steps will be taken to resolve that.

<EDIT>
I have personally cleared out larger files from that email account and archived them on my PC. Who would have thought that an email account with a small inbox size that had people sending examples of their work would fill up?!

Miss: You should be able to email them any questions you have. I love your picture, by the way!

Artist guys: If you need the files they are in the folder labled "artistoverflow" in the usual directory.

O.K. Thanks for clearing out the box space.

Will send copy of what I was originally trying to send over now. :domo:

Hey Mike! Don't suppose you were going to let the rest of us see any of this stuff any time soon? I like it.

It should all end up with gerbs, and from there the website

Dude, get a gmail account, that should take care of your storage problems.

...in a good way.

O.K. This one is not finished yet.. but I wanted to know what the other artists here thought of these various sketches of Ann. I've tried several different looks for her and I'm about to do a design that is gonna be a bit mroe detailed that i'm hoping the con staff will consider as a possible front or back cover design or something where I can get some exposure and help with the theme... of Anime... PUNCH! *wa cha* Any help/critisism given will help me create a really rocking mascot artwork. Even exchange sort of thing... *wink wink* So please take the time to let me know what you think... I don't want to make the final thing till I get some critiques/comments/thoughts/feedback ect. from other artists going to the event... What do you think so far? What would you really like to see improved/changed or modified from these concepts? Don't worry about sugar coating your responses, I have thick skin when it comes to crits.

(Do your best to rip me a new one mates) :takeout: :screem: - aaaa!

You're good. Really good.

Remember, our con is gritty and edgy, and our mascots should reflect that! They've grown up in the harshest of conditions!

Gritty.. Edgy.. GOT IT!!!

Off to make them gritty!.... EDGY!

(I shall return soon)
