As promised I went to Holiday Inn and took pictures, I have to say I was quite surprised. The Holiday Inns I know aren't as good as this one, and contray to my photos which for one reason or another came out dark the place is very well lit.
The nice things that are easily accessable are pay toll phones located near the doors and stairs as well as a water fountain located on the wall near the resturaunt.
The panel rooms look very nice, big and roomy with walls that can slide away. The only possible problem with this is noise leaking into the other rooms. Also the hallways are a little confusing but very long so they are great for the con-goers who like to roam.

Thanks so much! The hotel looks very beautiful to most. I know now that I won't be eating in their resturaunt. It's a bit pricey for a con-goer. We'll have to order pizza one night.

That ain't just a bit expensive... That's like, more expensive then some of the nicer restaurants I've been to!!! Those prices ain't natural. Who's up for a Wendy's run? :-P

Woah. I didn't think a place existed that didn't have a Wendy's nearby. Especially in Columbus, since it's so close to their corporate HQ. Wow.

So, we have two options: We could either A) stuff a van full of cosplayers and go on a Wendy's hunt, OR we could B) invade some other local fast food joint and scare the civilians.

I personally like choice A, but B is prolly more realistic ^_^;;

There are other places near the hotel, so nobody has to go hungry. And like rpb3000 said, someone could organize a van full of people to hunt down a Wendy's. Just as long as he wasn't trying to volunteer my van - it sounds like it may already be busy enough that weekend.

You're not the only friend with a van ^_~ (speaking of which, does AP have any use for Eric's van? He'd prolly want some form of gas money and/or food compensation, but if you need more spacious vehicles for hauling crap... Lemme know if you want me to ask him.)

And I thought their HQ was in Dublin. Close, but more separate than Worthington...

You just have to leave going north on 23 and it's on your right side next two three gas stations. But on what is closer to the con, they have a subways and a bob evans, chipotle, an asain food buffet and umm, i forget what else but the next time I'm hope there I'll let you know ^.^

At cons I say I will eat regulary, then I wont eat because I am not hungry. ^_^ (Or I loose track of time.)

I have to eat something, but it usually ends up being a few bites of something. I ended up sharing my sweet n sour chicken with chris, had like 5 bites of rice and a bite of chicken and the rest went to Jennifer. It was amusing. But that goes for any convention. I think I just get so overly excited and mentally pysched out that I can't eat alot during cons.

While I won't be able to make it to this con, I can say that if i'm doing something I enjoy I find it hard to really make time to eat. The more fun I have, the less time I have to eat after all. ^^

The hotel looks fantastic. My friend and i were planing on invadeing the near by places just to see what people do. I cant wait to see what the place looks like after we leave :D :takeout: mmm RAMEN mmm POCKY mmm RICE

Usually, we bring along some fancy treats with us to keep in our room, and eat when we want to... like ramen. Coffee pot ramen... mmmm.

The hotel looks a lot nicer than I expected! It's pretty. Hope they have availability left by the time I get the money to pay for it...
