Title: New game Idea
Description: Catch (enter anime character name)!!!

Ookami Yokai - January 31, 2006 12:48 AM (GMT)
Basically either call an anime characters name and or a color and who that person is or the color that they called is on the costume, those people get chased and glomped then they call out a new name or color and the game begins all over again!

Still It does sound fun.

kalajessta - January 31, 2006 01:46 AM (GMT)
Reminds me of that game where you use to throw the ball in the air and whoever's number it is, catches the ball and throws it near the closest person.

EnishiYukishirolover - January 31, 2006 01:59 AM (GMT)
I'd do it! But then again, I'll be in the other clothes that I am bringing

Mishikotoko - January 31, 2006 03:22 AM (GMT)
I will do it, if I am not in a cosplay.

Kaisermikeb - January 31, 2006 05:02 AM (GMT)
Ok, again... we're not doing random glomp games!

Mishikotoko - January 31, 2006 01:31 PM (GMT)
hmm....ok.

No randome one, what about planned ones?

kalajessta - January 31, 2006 03:10 PM (GMT)
Or what if we did my idea, with the ball? Instead of calling out numbers, we call out anime character names, in order to catch the ball and whoever gets to first, wins that round and the others that are the same character (if there are) are out?

Mishikotoko - January 31, 2006 03:22 PM (GMT)
hmm....that sounds fine too.

rpb3000 - January 31, 2006 07:21 PM (GMT)
...I like random glomp games...

But we don't want to harm people's precious cosplays!

true.

Thats why as a congoer, if I am going to glomp somone I ask first..lol

Part of tje problem is that our hotel will be a bit on the crowded side. There won't be any good areas to be stupid I'm afraid, besides either across the street in the backlot of the theater, or in the courtyard where the RBG will be.

Ok, I will have to keep that in mind.

Now what if a pannel (who lets just say is in a room) does not show up? Could we possible go in there?

(Although I doubt a pannel will just not show up)

Kaisermikeb - January 31, 2006 08:55 PM (GMT)
our panel rooms are pretty small, and filled with chairs and tables.

7am sunday in main programming would probably be open, since the dance would have faded but the chairs would have yet to return. At the same time, what with all the friggin expensive equiptment in there, the tossing of balls might be strictly forbiddon.

Having it in that room, is a bad idea...to many horrible things could happen to the equiptment.

Ok, well it was an idea..^_^v

I'd have to say, if you glomp, you ask before hand.

At my first con, I was Chocolate from Sorcerer Hunters. (I wore a white shirt, but it was small, and didn't cover much...) I got glomped INTO the pool, and I was soaked. I had no clothes to change into, and some stupid fan boys followed me around and threw dollars at me. I kept the money, and that was cool, but the experience was horrible... *shudders* I'll never wear white around water again...

Plus, it's just polite to ask, because if you glomp someone, and they are small (like me), you could injure them. This has also happened to me. Lol. I'm just a bad luck magnet, I think.

That reminds me of one of my friends who glomped a shesshomaru (sp?) and he actually had plastic spikes...lol..I laughed when they got hurt glomping him, since they didnt even ask..Although doing that could hurt somones costume..lol

Kaisermikeb - February 1, 2006 04:54 PM (GMT)
heh, we should have a "no non-concentual-glomping policy"! No means no! Just because they might like it afterwards doesn't mean they wanted to be glomped in the first place!

kalajessta - February 1, 2006 04:59 PM (GMT)
In the Colossal forum this morning, some fan girl decided they are going to start a fan girl guild that consists of only glomping. Man, I made sure they heard what happen at Ohayo Con this year. Cons are going to get stricter about glomping due to that.

kamon keronji - February 1, 2006 06:28 PM (GMT)
Yeah I thought you were the Less strict con. I mean cmon NO GLOMPING?
You would lose serious con goers rates In the next two years if you do that.
Ohayocon tried that at ohayocon 2004 and their attendance dwindeled tremendously. Is that what you want to happen at your con?

Mishikotoko - February 1, 2006 07:10 PM (GMT)
Ohayocon, hasn't kept people from glomping in the past (That I have been to, and I was at 04..I mean heck I was glomped at 04, and I saw others giving and recieving glomps.)
They just do not promote glomping, and I think in a way all conventions, do have problems with glomping.

That rule, would be nice.
(If it still allows glomps)

I am taking it as..meaning, if someone says no, then you do not try, or argue with them about it.

Quincy-kun - February 26, 2006 05:09 AM (GMT)
Sounds like fun.....

If the costumes are a problem, we could just get a sticky note that says "glomped" and stick it on the face of whoever has a costume that might get damaged.

I love that. Now I want to make a lot of post-it's that say that, and stick them to people. (will I?....I don't know...it could become a problem, that they are thrown all around, and just make the con look trashy...hmm....)
