Title: One show
Description: JUST ONE!

Kaisermikeb - January 22, 2006 07:08 PM (GMT)
Alright, what is the one show you NEED us to show?

This isn't "What is your favorite show?" or "what show should we show?", this is Name the ONE show that you HAVE to see at Anime Punch.

It might be something you keep trying to see, or something that you've searched everywhere for and can't find, or maybe it's that show you saw at your first con and have always wanted to see again.

Needless to say, this should be a show that you actually watch at the con, not something that you think would be cool to show, but you yourself won't actually watch.

Saitao - January 22, 2006 07:45 PM (GMT)
Without a doubt: Jigoku Shoujo. Not only would I watch this show, I would make each of my friends watch the entire series due to its mind-freakiness.

rpb3000 - January 23, 2006 05:03 AM (GMT)
Boiling it down to one show isn't easy, but...

Ayatsuri Sakon.

The torrents are inactive and only get halfway through the series anyway. And I let someone borrow my only copy of the disk that I burned the episodes I managed to get on and don't remember who it was that I lent it to. It would be awesome to just see maybe a later story arc, one from back when some group distributed it all on VHS in the classic style of fansubbing.

EnishiYukishirolover - January 23, 2006 05:11 AM (GMT)
Kikader!!!

Faris Kalin - January 24, 2006 07:06 AM (GMT)
I'd like to see some more of the Xenosaga anime. I've only seen the first two episodes and would love to see some more. I'm just a bit of a Xenosaga freak  . I'm kind of surprised that it hasn't been picked up for U.S. distribution yet especially considering the recent merger of Bandai and Namco.

I personally feel that not enough of the world has seen Gunbuster. Objections?

Proman - January 24, 2006 08:26 PM (GMT)
I second that.

kamon keronji - January 26, 2006 02:08 AM (GMT)
Tenjo Tenge

(May be a little mispelled)

Misato_Katsuragi - January 26, 2006 09:32 PM (GMT)
E's Otherwise.

The only reason: I saw half an episode at a friends house. The friend moved to Canada, and it's liscensed, therefore people are scared to put it up on their sites for downloading purposes. It looked pretty cool, and I can't find it anywhere... Which says a lot, because I can usually find anything. My main guy I DL from freaked out and took it off his site, and now he's focused on Bleach, which isn't bad, but... I've seen a lot of it, and I don't know how much more I can take... (That Inoue girl has GIGANTIC breasts.)

E's Otherwise.

We have it, so you never know...

In any case, ADV has almost the whole series released, so you can buy it from them if it so moves you.

Misato_Katsuragi - January 30, 2006 10:39 PM (GMT)
I'm poor... so I don't buy anime anymore. I have to save for cons, and buy food and cigarettes, and medicine...

Mishikotoko - January 31, 2006 12:07 AM (GMT)
DearS in subtitles. ^_^

kalajessta - January 31, 2006 01:49 AM (GMT)
Fate/Stay Night.

janetvan - February 15, 2006 05:49 AM (GMT)
I caught a few episodes of "Tide-Line Blue" a while back and have been unable to find it in an affordable (like free) format since then. :bash:

Neat story and I just want to find out what happens to the ostrich. No, really.

Kaisermikeb - February 15, 2006 02:02 PM (GMT)

I could bring FFVII Advent Children subbed....

Really? Cool. (The only sucky thing is, I had made a Special Features disc with the trailer without the subtitles, FFVII: Last Order, and a coolio slideshow on it, but it didn't burn right. Oh well.)

I'll bring it as long as I don't get arrested for doing so.

Clam....on....drugs....? O.o

Kaisermikeb - February 26, 2006 01:40 PM (GMT)
Because of licensing we can't show it in the video rooms, but we can't control what people do in their hotel rooms, even if the advertise -wink-

Go for it man!

All you said was you couldn't show it. I might just copy the DVD and give FFVII movies away for free. (Though I might have to charge a quarter or two for the DVD since I'll be making a LOT of DVDs XD)

Itaichi - March 12, 2006 02:13 AM (GMT)
the orignal fist of the north star.my god i havent seen that in forever and the torrents for the series seem to always be down

Kag-ST - March 12, 2006 05:40 AM (GMT)
I would want to see Nadia: Secret of the blue water. But if you wont show that then Aura Battler Dunbine.

Kaisermikeb - March 12, 2006 08:22 AM (GMT)
For a guy with such a lame screen name you sure do have a great taste in anime!

We're showing 7 episodes of Nadia (the first arc) as well as the relivant Omake's.

I'll have to check on Aura Battler Dunbine, but that's a great suggestion. If we don't show it we'll show Ideon, which is also Tomino
