Anyone interested in a Gravitation cosplay? I want to cosplay Nori-chan!

My Shuchan and I cosplayed at Youmacon. There were like three Eiri's running around, but only one Shuichi (other than us that we saw). We're not sure if we're going to go to Anime Punch or not. It's kind of a drive for us (we're up in Michigan) so we'll see. If we did go though it would be cool to meet up with others from Gravitation!

At some point we will finish our costumes, then I will be noriko, and two of my friends will be Ryuichi and Tohma. We also have a possible Shuichi...I am not sure if the costumes will be done or not...It depends on a lot of things^^'

This past Sugoi two months ago, about a week pre-con, I felt a strange urge to cosplay as K-san from Gravi. I pulled together the needed outfit rather easily and cheaply (pants, shoes, belt, shirt, tie, gun-holster setup with a pair of suspenders and a prop, sunglasses, and a complete piece of crap wig), and wore it to Sugoi on Friday.

I was dropped off across the street from the convention. As I stepped out of the car, a group of Gravitation cosplayers crossed the street from the other direction towards me. It was highly amusing.

I was at ohayocon and im doing Yuki,and my female freind is doing Tohma!

Hmm... You were Yuki at Ohayocon? Were you the one who glared alot? If so, I totally remember you.

I was debating Suichi...I would like to crossplay him.

I've never been to Anime Punch and still as of yet, due to the whole I'm broke and my parent's haven't got a hotel room yet, I'm not completely sure if I'm going. I'm pretty sure I am (hope so, I already registered). If I do then I will be going as Tohma for sure at least part of a day. I thought about wearing my Shuichi doggie cos that I wore at Ohayo Con but that means sewing the crotch (it has a huge hole in it right now from wearing it Sat. at Ohayo) and fixing the whole "I have a 2 foot hole in my back" problem with the costume. I've been very very lazy since Ohayo Con and haven't frequented my room much and have been laying on the living room couch for a week not going to school and being sick, so even though I may have material to make some costumes, I have not done so. Well, I'm done rambling now... >>;

I'm going to try to pull off a simple Ryu or Shu-chan out fit for one of the days....trying to find somthing to be for all 3 days.....

I think I may of saw you....by any chance on saturday did you pass 2 Ed's, a Vash, and a one piece cosplayers going up the stairs.........??

I finally did get a room! Muahaha! Other than that as far as costumes go... oh my! I just realized that I don't have a wig ;_; I don't want to buy one either... bleh. I suppose I'll look and see if I can find a cheap one, if not I'll just tuck my hair in my hat and let some hang out... >_>; So, anyone know a good online place to buy a wig? like a halloween wig for like 10 bucks or something...?

So was that you as K-san? I saw a K-san with Ryuichi on Friday evening at Sugoi while I was waiting line in Registration.

I dunno at the moment. I do have my Tohma outfit, though I wanted to do the one with the red vest... I have about 10 people looking for a red vest, to no avail of course. My team have covered most of Southeastern Ohio and returned nothing ;_; ... I'm also going to cosplay Maya from Tenjou Tenge... if I can get out of the hotel room without my mom seeing >>; I dunno when I'm cosplaying what, when I figure it out, I might tell ya. If not, call me at the con. I'm going to have to fend off my mom and Jacob at the con, though I might just kill Jacob and get it over with. Speaking of which, Jacob will be cosplaying Ryuichi. I bought a shirt this time. And I WILL remember it.

And oh yeah, is there a Gravi photoshoot time preset up or anything? Are you having a photoshoot?

*cough* Uhm I'm going as Rage for saturday only. Hopefully people will know who I am ^^; Randomness...

Ya-ho! It's only four months til the con...lol, only... Anyways, though there is a while, anyone going as a Gravi charrie this year? I might actually do a cos other than my Shuichi dog costume... maybe... I'm very attached to it...

I'm actually gonna have a new costume for AnimePunch this year.. though I may still wear my doggy cos because they made a Shuichi doggy plushy (yay!). But I'd really like to have a photoshoot... unlike our nonexistent one at OhayoCon! Moh... that was disappointing.

Ah, good, a Ryuichi. That makes *pretends to count on fingers* hmm... two? Gravitation cosplayers... amazing... so many... don't think I can keep track of them... XD I might just bring my Tohma cos on top of my 2 Shuichi cosplays to make it seem like there are more of us. Hmm, I just realized... I don't think my costume will fit in the car *cries* The Mustang is nice until you have go put a costume in it... I might end up using my costume to store my other costumes! lmao

As a last minute, and I as am in need of one more outfit, I'm going to see if I can put together a Shuichi costume (concert version). I've wanted to be him in the future anyways and I've got this last minute 'OMG COSPLAY AS HIM NOWZ!' feeling for some reason, haha.

Also being in character sounds way too fun for me. ^^

All Shuichi's Need to get a picture with me... More like everyone in this thread but hey, that'd be hard. Pink hair's easy to find.

Are we going to put together a photoshoot? Not that many of us but what the hell you know? Easier for us to find each other ^^ Since all the major shoots are on Sat how about we all get together on Fri or Sun?

I agree. I thnk we should do it Friday.. I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it very long Sunday.

Friday would be great, not many people stay in cosplay on Sunday as it is. If Fri is alright with everyone else, what time? Maybe 2'ish? 3'ish?

Oh and I'm going to completely be in character for Shuichi, just a warning... haha.

Thank you so much. I'm so glad there's some good people still out there. The weekend before the con and I find out the one time in the past year and half that I've carried over $50 in my wallet, someone steals my wallet, including my driver's license, debit card, and cash... and it was my gravitation wallet too... So, here I sit crying... Anyways sometime maybe at 6 or 7 on Friday is fine. I don't even know what costumes I'm bringing, so I don't know what I'm wearing when, so I can adjust it, but I know I probably won't be at the con until 7 because of the people I'm bringing don't get out of school until 2:30 and the one, I don't even know where he lives, so it might be later, and it takes an hour and a half to get there, and we probably won't leave til 4 pm, because we're slow and everything else... *sighs* If that's too late for you, that's fine, I'll understand. It would also help to know when all the events are but I'm not sure if they're posted anywhere and I'm too tired and too lazy to look...

One more thing though, next time you need a commission, you should ask me... I don't take money until I give you the costume. ^_^ If I had any form of money to buy material I'd offert to rush make you a Shuichi costume.

I have my pink hair, even purple contacts and still no coat. Nothing in my wardrobe is Shuichi like for last minute even so I don't know if I will be able to pull off Shuichi, might have to do the shoot without me *really sad*. We're both in the sad boat. ><

Oh, that does work well! With my luck it's during the AMVs or something... it probably is. I'm glad you found an outfit! We're taking two small cars, so I have to use my costume to pack my stuff in XD Hopefully it'll fit in my Cougar at all. I was gonna try to get the friend that's coming with me to dress as Tohma, but my friend is too nice to cosplay Tohma. ^_^ I have to pack now... although I'm still not sure what other costumes I'm bringing...heh
