April 30th is fast-aproaching. I was just wondering if there has been anything done about advertising for it. (i.e.: flyering, announcing it on other con message boards, etc.)

If there hasn't been much done, then I think that's definitely something that needs to be attended to.

I have advertised to other cons and clubs I am members in, as well as to a few other message boards.
Campus is in the process of being fliered, and we sent out to campus people copies of the fliers for them to print or forward as best they could.

Susan is head of advertising, and I think she has been hitting other message boards, fliering campus, and she went to BGSU.

Everyone needs to be a part of advertising though, spam every message board you know, put up fliers, contact your home town clubs and libraries, etc. etc.
I expect Manga club to be able to do a damn good advertising job, as you guys seem to have decent connections, and are fairly active and well organized.

Oh... did anyone tell CCAD??

Well, we need to be given the flyers before we can distribute any of them. ^_^;;

Yes, the CCAD Anime Club knows about the event, and they've said that they're willing to get some flyers around the school - they just need to be supplied with them as well.

There are some available on the forums, also we will be hosting some for download on the con site.

Likewise, body art will be compensated for by the con if it advertises us.
