Title: Japanese armour and sword lecture?
kwanyin - August 30, 2005 02:58 PM (GMT)
Here is a not-so-common idea...
how about a panel on japanese swords and armour. I belong to a medieval enthusist group and there are a hand full of members who are experts in this field. One guy lives in Indiana and belongs to the Japanese Armour Preservation Society while he was living in Japan.

Is he comming to the con? Bring him along! All pre-reges can request to host a panel and I would love to have a panel like that! (if it's really good and the con does well, he'll even be compensated!)

http://www.sengokudaimyo.com/katchu/katchu.html This is his site. I don't think he is going to attend.
I would bring parts of my armor but none of it is cut out nor lace. not much of a panel there. I could bring chain mail but almost 'everyone' had made chain mail.

Yeah, I'd definitely be interested in a panel like that. Hopefully he will be up for doing it.
