I swear Cartoon Network used to be cool. I'd go to my Dad's and watch their daily 3 hour Toonami block. Yeah sure all they really played was DBZ and Outlaw Star but at least good shows like that ween't getting replace with sh*t like Zatch Bell and that stupid Totally Spies crap.

I really thought CN was starting to come around. Toonami maybe have only been on once a week, but it had some good shows on its block. One Piece(even though I have heard the American version is terrible compared to Japanese series), and one of my favorites, Transformers Cybertron. Yes I know. Transformers is really old, and the last few attempts for a cartoon series have sucked balls, but that's due mostly to terrible American voice acting and the fact that every cartoon has to have cute little kids and happiness out the behind in it.

But again my hopes that CN being a cool channel again have died. Stupid kiddy cartoons are invading Toonami, and even the cool anime is being cut even on Adult Swim.

I know I got a little off topic, but my point is this. I'm done with CN. The channel blows. I just wanted to see what other people thought. Its a random forum thread so I might as well give it a try.

I like CN but it's always been retarded fyi... They're putting Naruto on that Miguzi thing... Transformers... bleh... the only good one was the original junkyard one!

Yeah, adult swim needs to get its ass in gear. I know there are plenty of inu yasha fans out there, but either show it weekdays or weekends, but not both. Expecially don't clear out all your good anime programing (Hey, GITS, Champloo, Paranoia, and FMA are all damn good shows), to show an episode of IY, followed by the sucktastic, Alice in Wonderland wannabe, IY movie. At first I thought it might be cool... till Kohaku showed up and insured its sucking.

Toonami... what happened to you man? You had Outlaw Star, DBZ, Gundam Wing, and Outlaw Star all on at one point. How can you go from that to fucking Meguzi? I mean, I might consider Gundam W to be the weakest of the Gundams (not counting G of course, and this was prior to Seed) but it's still pretty cool, and DBZ sucks, but it's a lot of fun to watch with the right audience! And anyway you deal the cards, Tenchi and Outlaw Star kick ass! So what happened? Get all wrapped up over a girl or something? Get addicted to something?

CN needs to get it's ass in gear, or make way for Anime Channel.

Well yeah there was great anime, but remember cartoon network is called "cartoon" for a reason, they show cartoons, adult swim shows a few of the best and funniest american cartoons in the world. If you want anime order the anime channel.

Lightning_Fox - August 29, 2005 06:43 PM (GMT)
They stopped showing American Dad after like 3 episodes... Paranoia Agent is over... They showed the last episode last week... Inuyasha is defanitely way over done on AS... It's Anime Network not channel lol :P.... What's GITS?

Proman - August 29, 2005 07:13 PM (GMT)
GITS = Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex. I agree, that Cartoon Network isn't what it used to be (Toonami used to be good not it became crappy). However, good shows do show up on Adult Swim once in a while and there's less censorship now than there used to be.

I never really got into Stand alone Complx... FMA is still on isn't it? I think it is...
