Okay, I've seen some sort of jail, usually charity at most of the cons I've been to and wa wondering if it would be possible for us to do that.

For those who don't know what I'm talking about, the jail is some sort of enclosed spot where you can pay to put people in for any reason, like for example I might pay $5 to put Hellsing in for five minutes for the reason of not being worthy of Wufei,

We'd need voulnteers to play guard though...

See that'd be funny, as long as nobody tries to arrest Ward. You gotta show love to the minor characters. hahaha. :lol:

They had something like this at the Great Lakes Medieval Faire. You could either send someone to jail for a sleight (real or fabricated) or through interactions with the cast (villagers, that is). Great fun.

If you guys want I help run that at the Baycrafter's Ren Faire Every year.

Oh and half the fun is catching/ carrying the people who have to be put in jail to the cell or stocks.

Hehe, very true. Zoroko, Ra-chan and I made friends with (and promptly messed up) the jailers when Zo and I showed up as Green and Blue Link from Four Swords. >D

We weren't in jail at the time, and it was just random attendees that called us stuff, not the jailers. During the course of the day we got all kinds of weird guesses:
-Keebler Elves
-Peter Pan
-Oompa Loompas

...People are weird. >.>

I'll play guard for awhile. I could wear my Chocolat costume, from Sorcerer Hunters. Hehe. It'll be way too much fun!!

(BTW, can I pay 20 dollars to put in all the Naruto cosplayers, because there are too many, and they need to be punished?? lol.)

I'm just waiting for mike to ok this so we can figure this stuff out mike i'd be more than willing to set something fun up that will also make the convention some extra revenue which will help with any unexpected stuff. Actually I'm going to be doing the Ren faire jail stuff this weekend.

I'm actually not a big fan of the jail ideas normally, but after all we arn't in the habbit of saying no!

The only issue would be location. PM me with any ideas. I have some too, but I'm too lazy to do anything but click reply.

Actually thats how you advertise jail, for instance.

My friend was part of the stocks comittee. So we had him run like a mofo while the rest of us chased him down making a huge scene, it caused a whole buch of people to follow us back there by making the stocks more popular and making us one hell of alot of money, $400+ over a weekend.

I still like the idea, and I still volunteer to be a guard.

I think we could make a lot of money for the con doing this, after seeing above post.

That sounds really fun..lol.

I know some people I would put in it.
