Title: Any upcoming games you're looking forward to?

Human after all - May 13, 2008 04:31 AM (GMT)
I don't know, there just seems to be nothing on the horizon that really excites me. Maybe I'm just burnt out.

But with summer coming up, I usually have much more free time. So what are you looking forward to?

The only few games that tickle my fancy right now are Resistance 2 and Little Big Planet. And yeah, it's kinda odd how we've had a pretty strong start to the year, and now it's suddenly just kinda died down.

If I remember, this is pretty typical. Summer and after-christmas are the low points...

I think Final Fantasy Advance is coming out for the ds this summer. That or fall. Mainly, I'm planning to finish the games I have, such as Professor Layton which I started over spring break.

I'm looking at getting Mario Kart in the very near future. I also want to pick up Lost Planet: Condition Extreem, Fuel of War, and Advent Rising, if I find them for a good price.

Also: Professor Layton and the Curious Village.

Professor Layton does seem like your kind of game.

Oh yeah, I want Puchi Puchi Virus, I'll get it if nothing else appears this summer.

I have games stretching back to Playstation that I still want to finish. Like DQ7, where I got to the end and then got bored trying to max out all my classes. But I just finished Phantasy Star II which was basically grinding and mazes, so I don't want to deal with RPGs right now. And I still want to buy a DS and play the games I missed.

Lost Planet is like $17 used and Professor Layton is so much fun! But I'm sure you don't need anyone telling you this. ^_^

Edit: You know what? Scratch that.... I have two copies of Lost Planet, I'll just give one to you next time I see you if you don't get your own by then. But I recommend you get the Colonies Ed. one because it's only $30 new and has a lot more content.
