I just wanted to say all of you cosplayers blew my MIND this year. So many great ones, it was difficult to decide. Wow. I don't ever want to hear anyone say that Punch has subpar cosplays.

I am making an executive decision. I would definitely like to congratulate the Ness cosplayer for his absolute dedication to finding his character in an anime. He proved us all wrong with his research, and it was in poor taste to not recognize his efforts. So! To JJ, the Ness cosplayer, I personally applaud you.

I look forward to next year's cosplayers!

Haha, yeah. That Hinata was awesome, so in character she ran away and wasn't there to get the award. >< I saw her various times through the weekend, and she was like that all the time. Makes me wonder if she was in character or if she's really that shy?

Maybe she is like that all the time and that's why she wanted to be Hinata, because their personalities already match? It's kinda like how I cosplay Haruhi because I can be as crazy and sassy as her. :P

Haha, JJ sat next to me. He was telling me all about how he was showing you guys pictures of Ness from the anime/manga. He was also convincing people around us. Everyone was like, "Wow, no kidding!" It was adorable. X3

I loved him <333, like it was so awesome that he had done all that research. Major, major, props to him. Honestly, it sucked giving out prizes, because there were so many cosplayers we loved, it really was hard to narrow it down, but alas, we had to cut it off at some point.

I had a tough time choosing the winners myself.

Heather's Hinata cosplay was dead on! All she needed to to was faint while holding the Naruto cup, but the running away was a good topper to that also!

I have to hand it to JJ, his research to his Ness cosplay was amazing! Hats off to you!

Kino's work on the props was excellent!

I could go on, so I'll stop here.

I'll just finish up saying Good work to all! I had a great time and I hope to do this again next year!

And my favorite moment in my cosplay experience, "Please be Sweet!"

Congrats to the winners. Every single cosplayer that entered rocked the house. It was WAY too hard to narrow it down, and I wish I could give an award to all ya'll. Lookin forward to next year!

I am friends with heather hinata, i was the one who had to call her to get her back in the room. its so scary how much she is like the character.

You have no idea how awkward it was to tell and explain that one to my parents.

What exactly was it? I didn't catch the contest.

It was for the pose where he pointed to the sky mimicking the part in the series when he was talking to Simon about drilling to the heavens.

So do I! I had a blast! I wonder if there is someone out there next year who could out do that Hinata cosplayer by way of character acting?
Even if the answer is no, it would be great to see the same level of work I saw this year.

*waves* Greetings - I was the Kino cosplayer. I apologize for not posting sooner - I've actually been without a computer until yesterday. Circumstances forced me to miss the entire Masquerade, which was unfortunate. Congratulations to everybody!

Thanks so much! That's only my second time building firearms, and it was certainly a challenge. At least I got that back gun to mount correctly. *is very grateful for magnets*
