So, being staff for the last three years has been good, but possibly not as good as this year, and being a staffer.

If you guys didn't know, this was my first year hosting anything, like panels, and events, etc... and really doing my part. Granted, I have done a lot of things in the past, but not as much as this weekend.

The Anime for the Disturbed was the only one that had no problems. xD

So, some of the things I ended up doing ended up ALMOST foiling! BUT! All were pulled through. The one thing that really ended up falling apart was the AMV contest which John and I were supposed to host.

Well, before John left me, he had got me a 1/3 of the equipment. Which is understandable because he has a lot to do, but still, I was kind of left to do it all. So, I was left to run in heals, down the hall and search for a projector... which was required for both AMV and my Name That Anime! So, of course I needed one. And a laptop!

Anyway, needless to say, I had so much fun hosting the 20 minutes out of 2 hours of the AMV contest... (because we got everything set up with 20 minutes left! xD) But everyone understood and we watched a lot of videos!

And thank you, Janette for letting me borrow your laptop! I ran around SO long searching for a laptop. T-T thank youus! <333

Next was Name that Anime, originally, and I had divided who would make the rounds... but John was too busy and was unable to make those rounds... so.. I ended up waking up very early and spent an hour on creating more pictures for Name that Anime...

I didn't know what I was doing for a while, because I had hoped that John was to do that portion... but it all worked out and I'm hoping that next year I'll have a lot more Animes, and HOPEFULLY trivia questions because I didn't have enough time that morning to make questions. Though I wish I did.

Anyway, I was kinda handed down the hentai panel... people that were supposed to show up (like all you staffers! xD were way to busy elsewhere, and its understandable, guys! :3) And John and Robyn left about 30 minutes into it.
So, from 1 am to 4:50 am we played, talked, and showed hentai-- I had fun. I haven't actually attended a hentai panel, but its what I would hope for.

xD Thank you to the three girls that stayed nearly the whole time... except their VERY LONG bathroom break!



I'm sure I have tons more to add, but theres my exprience with my events and doing panels this year.

Yeah, sorry about my failings in everything I was spose'd to plan for. My computer's gotten a bit too old to play back a lot of stuff anymore, plus I don't have the free space to create any awesome vids like I had planned. I thought I had built a new computer that would do the trick, but alas, tech problems still abound with that box.

So then I figured I could figure out what I wanted to do with those panels at con. Hahah. I ended up being way too busy all the time. But I think you did a good job with what you were given, and we did decent jobs with what we had.

I owe you a beer or something for being awesome.

Someone owes me for conveniently having Bible Black in my laptop.

maybe I can help out a bit next year with name that anime and maybe even the AMVs if Mike's cool with it. I have a lap top of my own with photoshop and could have easily helped making the images. I could work on them ahead of time so there's no rushing. This way John is free to do his other jobs and you aren't alone ^-^

I'm fine with doing it on my own. xD Everyone else was just busy and I had to improvise for the Name that Anime.

I'm hoping to have everything down by next year.
