Anything else:
Best moment: 1st THE SLIDE!
2ndSpin the kunai, when female sasuke tackled Itachi and busted his lip.
Best phrase: DNA hunters, after taking over the bad anime room- "I think it's about time you suck my cock."
Best cosplay: I saw a lot that were good.. I liked little Hiei.
Best thing you bought: Outlaw Star complete series
Best event: I didn't really go to many events.. I actually completely missed the concert, which sucks. I heard it started like, 2 hours late..
Saddest moment: I forgot sexy Sasuke's room number like, 10 minutes after she told me it.
Things accomplished: 1. Getting yuffie-hugs. 2. becomming leader of the bad anime.
Anything else:
The story of the bad anime room: I heard there was 18+ material, so of course I had to get in. After being asked if I was 18 I replied yes, and thus entered the room. We were watching Kekko Kamen...A show so horrible you can't not laugh at it. I started out low on the food chain, standing by the door with not so much as a chair. As the night moved on I made my way forward, soon gaining the ever valued "chair". I did not leave my chair, knowing the second I stood it would be lost. At some point we decided it was necissary to go by more bad hentai for later, so I went out and found an artist selling DVDs, and $15 later had the first 3 disks of "DNA Hunter". Returning to the room I flashed the DVDs to cheers of "Wooo! Go pervy-sage!"
Soon staff entered the room, telling us to wait till 11 to show the adult material, as there were kids around. The movie we watched next.. was undescibably horrible, the beginning of the move consisted of an Orochimaru look alike doing interpretive dance. However, we soon discovered it was a recruitment video for Scientology! Having discovered this we actually paid a little attention, trying to learn their secrets. The movie ended without us learning any secrets.
Some time after I left the room for a drink, a bawls slushie. I returned to the news that our dirty movie watching had been pushd back to 1 AM. Next up was... Well, I forget the title.. But it looked like a bad power rangers/voltron knock off. At this point I took it upon myself to rip a sheet out of one of the hotel notepads and write "85+ ONLY" on it, then tape it to the door using some tape borrowed from a cosplayer in the room. The door was then shut. The staff that was in there watching with us left, telling me that he would get someone to replace him, and until they showed up I was in charge. No one ever came. 1 AM came, and after we all went to the consuite to partake on grenola bars and sunkist we returned to our dark room, replacng the sign with a scribbled "18+ only" sign, and began watching DNA Hunters.
4 viewings later we had become bored of watching "the slide", we left the room, scouring the other video rooms and nearby panels demanding more to watch, eventually a savior came, and at 4:50 AM we began watching Elfen Lied. The current state of the room was 7 guys, two of whom were asleep. I soon joined them, departing the bad anime room for my hotel room. The next morning, I realized I had forgotten my slushie in the room, when I returned however, the cup was still there..but it was completely empty! Someone drank after me, ewww.

He busted mine too. =]
It sounds like you had a pretty good time - don't worry, I missed the concert too. I played 'Morten's List' in the noise room instead. XD
Squallspike - April 14, 2008 12:53 AM (GMT)
Best moment: I GOT A KISS FROM ASIAN GIRL!!!
Best phrase: "This drawing is fucking sweet of me dude" -Ian
Best cosplay: the bankai ichigo dude was really fucking sweet

Saddest Moment: Some1 stole my key card -.-
Ichi - April 14, 2008 01:04 AM (GMT)
Best moment: Moshing in the concert even if it got broken up, and having my first Ramune ever! Melon flavor!
Best phrase: "Twenty minutes!" story behind it was the fact the the promoter girl for the Hsu-Nami concert was jumping up and down the halls telling everyone this and then everyone got in line...BUT! Low and behold the concert didn't start for like an hour after she said that so my friend and I decided that from now on whenever we wanna mess with people randomly to just start like skipping up to them and cheering "Twenty minutes guys whoo!" and jsut walk away Xp.
Best cosplay: Umm that's a tough one. I do have to say that a lot of the cosplayers did amazing jobs. I liked the crazy random Catnip Ninja, the girl cosplaying as Ryuk was cool, and anyone wearing a bleach related costume had my support! But in terms of Best costume...I'd have to give it to the guy cosplaying as Grimmjow. His costume was perfect, and I dunno what that mask bit was made out of but whatever it was it's amazing quality wise.
Best thing you bought: Well I was broke this year so I only bought a few things but My favorite was my "The cake is a lie" T-shirt. But if I had the money my favorite thing would have been buying up most of the berserk Manga from volume one and up, OR getting to buy a few of the R.O.D. dvds.
Best event:Definintly the Hsu-Nami concert! The Spoony Bards were also Amazing but getting to mosh even if for a little bit was amazing plus getting to get up an stage was cool too. I really hope the come back to Columbus soon. OH! And not to forget the EVA puppet show! that was also kickass
Things accomplished:Buying my first Ramune, Tasting Dessert Pocky for the first time (I normally only get to get regular chocolate pocky), Playing crazy Raiden-esk shooters in the Game room, meeting a few new people, wandering around AIMLESSLY in the wee hours of the morning, being somewhat anti-social, developing a secret desire to dress up in anything covered in chains and being black with a mask...All those people looked awesome, and meeting Tristan was awesome.
Anything else: Just getting to chill in an Otaku friendly environment, plus compared to my first con ever which was this year's Ohayocon. This con was amazing and I couldn't have had a better time.
Shyra - April 14, 2008 01:14 AM (GMT)
Best Moment: When the Blitzball ball was 'killed'.
Best Phrase: "You know what they say. What happens at a con...will probably end up on the internet, but don't worry about it."
Best Cosplay: Skeletor
Best Thing You Bought: Blood+ Soundtrack CD
Best Event: Your Favorite Anime Sucks
Things Accomplished: Became a Pokemon. And didn't lose during the first round!
Voodoo Trucker - April 14, 2008 01:15 AM (GMT)

Best phrase: HIT HIM WITH THE PANCAKE FLIPPA
Best cosplay:The Ike looked fantastic.
Best thing you bought:Aperture Science shirt? Sushi?
Best event:The Panda/Noah half of the rave. Maiku, you know what you're doing, but freakin Sandstorm?
Things accomplished::alco:
Anything else: Uh..
Zeo - April 14, 2008 01:18 AM (GMT)
Best moment: When out of nowhere Roxas grabbed the guy beside him and broke into and about killed everyone in the Spin the kunai circle
Best phrase(not mine):"Dude that shirt comes off or I take something else off with this kunai"
Best cosplay: espada number 6
Best thing you bought: FMA watch
Best event: Spin the kunai
Things accomplished: Megaman 3 perfect run (not counting that last little glitch)
Anything else: i survived , no ticket, no wreck.
ShadowSpartan - April 14, 2008 01:28 AM (GMT)
thanks for the compliments! I was the one who cosplayed as Grimmjow!!! I had a lot of fun, really wanted to see more espada. Vincent - April 14, 2008 01:33 AM (GMT)
adding a new category. Saddest moment.
Saddest moment: I forgot sexy Sasuke's room number like, 10 minutes after she told me it.
Kapn' J - April 14, 2008 01:41 AM (GMT)
Best moment: See good ol Zoidberg again.
Best phrase:"We're sexy beast"-guy who was adjusting cat ears with me. & "I think he's stalking me!" -female friend as Itachi, apparetly being stalked by a Sasuke with a popcicle.
Best cosplay: Sorta hard to choose. I'd say Linebeck or Dark Link.
Best thing bought: My Kitty ears :nyan:
Best event: Do the Spoony Bards count? Espeaiclly when they played K. Rool's theme?
Things accomplished: Get a hug, start taking my camera, get the kitty ears I've want for so long, get my picture taken with a cute girl.
Anything else: Returning to the paradise known as Anime Punch.
EDIT: Saddest moment: Not taking as many pics as I usually do. That, and leaving at 8:00 pm.

did you make you put on that blue shirt for the Hentai Olympics, or did you do that on your own
I hope I'm not overdoing it for you, but you got a perfectly shaped bod for that cosplay, it looks almost perfectly like him. sculpted but not over muscled, that had to take some work.. Plus you put a lot of work into that mask.
OH btw another favorite line:
"No fair, she's got boobs!"
"Yeah, but you got nipples."
Asian Haku - April 14, 2008 01:44 AM (GMT)
| QUOTE (Squallspike @ Apr 14 2008, 12:53 AM) |
Best moment: I GOT A KISS FROM ASIAN GIRL!!! Things accomplished: i lost my asian kissing virginity now im addicted to asians |

Best moment: During the Pokemon Battle with Sexy Sasuke and I did HakuxSasu fanservice. XD

Best cosplay: Loved the Grimmjow cosplay, ShadowSpartan!
Best thing you bought: A Death Note.
Best event: Spin the Kunai!
Things accomplished: Participate in the Pokemon Battles and win a prize, get on the stage in Fight Club! Finish my Haku costume in time!
Saddest Moment: I wasn't able to sign up for the cosplay judging because I couldn't come early to sign up.
Anything else: This was my first year at an anime convention! It was an awesome experience and am definitely coming back next year! :3
Zylo the Wolf - April 14, 2008 01:46 AM (GMT)
Best Momment: Seeing somone I met priviously this year and her telling me she was a staffer! We became somewhat good friends too so that made me happy.
Best Phrase: "Twentie Minutes!" I'm sorry but I have to agree with Ichi, me being of the the two, not just one, friends that came up with that idea that Ichi descrided earlier.
Best Cosplay: Okay, I only saw him once but: Vincent Valentine. He had everything, including the golden arm! Sadly, I only saw him as I was leaving on friday and never saw him again, even though I saw one other Vincent Valentine he was not the same and had almost nothing.
Best Thing You Bought: The anime drawing of my D&D character, Genkai The Elemental.
Best Event: The Spoony Bards
Things Accomplished: Got a 98% and Top Performer as Drummer in Rock Band playing on Medium difficulty.
Saddest Moment: Realising that even though I was cosplaying KIRA, I could not kill anyone by writting their name in my death note. :france:
Anything Else: ...

BritMandelo - April 14, 2008 02:05 AM (GMT)
Best moment: Sticking my inferno-aching feet in an ice bucket after five hours of raving.
Best phrase: "Phoenix is my bitch." - Adam
Best cosplay: Vincent Valentine who I only saw once. And then no more.
Best thing you bought: Uh, a Monokuro-Boo pillow?
Best event: Panda-XP at the rave, and then some darkpsy. (Seconding Ian, Maiku, Sandstorm? What?)
Saddest moment: My glasses flying into the crowd during a particularly epic shuffle during "Superstar DJ" at the rave.
Things accomplished: Met some nice new buds, reconnected with old friends.
Anything else: Hell, it was nice. Except the vendor's room this year... Every booth, SAME MERCH. And no Crisis Core goodies! What the hell. I need my FFVII fix, and not Advent Children, kthx.
ShadowSpartan - April 14, 2008 02:13 AM (GMT)
The shirt was made by a friend of mine, but for the olympics amanda and natalie(my designers lol) decided it'd be best to go shirtless.
Zeo - April 14, 2008 02:16 AM (GMT)
I meant the blue one instead of the white on he normally wears.
hmm i should make it bed time I'm getting to where I want to know the minor ireelevant details of everything I went to.
ShadowSpartan - April 14, 2008 02:28 AM (GMT)
yeah, the white one is a jacket, the blue shirt your talking about was made by my friend for me.
Tsugaru - April 14, 2008 02:33 AM (GMT)
Best moment: Kissing Enishi-chan~ XD
Best phrase: ...There were a lot of these.. I can't really remember~
Best cosplay: Everyone looked SO awesome! >O<
Best thing you bought: HALLS!
Best event: DDR tournament (I got 3rd place!)
Saddest moment: ...leaving Saturday night....
Things accomplished: Not what I wanted to get done. Seriously, Friday afternoon I was in a 'mood', and I was... no, I'm not going to go on.
Anything else:....what was here, I'm removing.... It's not...*starts crying due to own stupidity*
Lothlin - April 14, 2008 02:43 AM (GMT)
Best moment: Whose Line Uncensored. Waiters. I just love screwing with Kyo and Baka ^_____^
Best phrase: Um. Dude, Row Row Fight da Powaa OF COURSE.
Best cosplay: Haha, oh man, it's really hard for me to pick out a single amazing cosplay that I loved to death, because there were SO MANY awesome ones at the con this year. It's like asking me to pick my favorite type of candy - simply impossible because I love it all. That said, because I am a huge dork, I really have to give mad props to all the other Gurren Lagann cosplayers. You guys seriously rocked.
Best thing you bought: Eva A-15 Arael-XX Blood Pattern Blue fig. I've been looking for this thing for a YEAR at cons, and this is the first one I've seen. I do believe I actually squealed in fangirlish glee when I saw her.
Best event: ....
Saddest moment: Finding out that the import dealer's only copy of Ouendan 2 had been sold before I managed to make it to the dealers room.
Things accomplished: Um. Well, I didn't COMPLETELY screw up at breakdancing... ah hah ^^;
Anything else: I really hope everyone enjoyed the events I was involved in. I know we had a few technical difficulties and stuff like that, but I still like to think things went really smoothly. Really, you guys were great audience wise, we couldn't do it without you.
Shadow Link - April 14, 2008 02:52 AM (GMT)
Hmm so much to try and remember. Let's see...
Best moment: Getting pictures + comments on my cosplay literally seconds upon entering the automatic doors. xD
Best phrase: Can't remember off the top of my head everything I heard. I'll edit later if I do remember something.
Best cosplay: So hard to pick ><; so I'll say Kenshin(Ookami Yokai) and Haruhi
Best thing you bought: Haruko plushie. And boy will that thing be hugged ever so much.
Best event: Missed out on a bunch.
Saddest moment: Bawls bottle vanishing after playing a DDR song moments after I had just bought it, Missing out on the cosplay event due to the fire hazard with the max number of people in there, lack of Elfen Lied merchandise T_T, missing sign-ups for Brawl competition
Things accomplished: Got a few fangirls along with random hugs and glomps, spanked Saskue :D, managed to stay awake Saturday morning till time of this post (Sunday 10:30ish).
Anything else: For a con that basically asks you to use your common sense rather than be babysat, a lot of people surprisingly stayed in fairly good manners. I also like how, since it was a smaller con, I got to sit down every now and then and actually talk and meet some cool folks.
Centaura - April 14, 2008 05:08 AM (GMT)
Best moment: Being FIERCE PATROL and going around at whatever ungodly hour getting shots of cosplayers and congoers at their fiercest. The Donato's pizza guy and Gendo were also included. Tied for first with the catalyst for this: trading a toy for alcohol.
Best phrase: "So I was balls deep in--", "You are the ugliest girl I have ever seen.", "YOU'RE A PRO", "I'M CAPTAIN BASCH"
Best cosplay: Hard to say...I caught a lot of good-looking people as I bummed around the art tables. The Honey that was running around giving people candy was A+ for cuteness and candy factors.
Best thing you bought: FFIV mini figures>?/!>?!?!1? Holy shit yes! I finally got a physical manifestation of my first and most favorite game character everrr. It was meaningful to me, as lame as that sounds.
Best event: The end of Whose Line was epic with the cards, Your Favorite Anime Sucks is always awesome, and the uncensored Whose Line was just insane. So hard to choose.
Saddest moment: Leaving at noon on Sunday. Missing a lot of things I wanted to do (Anime for the Disturbed, Gantz, Elfen Lied cosplay).
Things accomplished: The annual meeting with friends I made at AP2006; socializing more and more; practicing restraint on the spending; being recognized by Nekozawa from last year and recognizing him in return (he seemed so happy); thoroughly embarrassing myself.
Anything else: I can't believe it's over already...
Celeste_Orchid - April 14, 2008 07:56 AM (GMT)
Best moment:
Swimsuit cosplay: getting sexy pictures with Lethal_Beauty and/or DS Chatroom for those of you who know... you know. Just pictures.
Best phrase:
"dude". A bunch of friends and I over used that term and ended up sounding like Dude Where's My Car
Personal favorite: CHIITO PIITO!
Best cosplay:
mine. hands down. XD um seriously.. thats a tough call, there was so many good ones this year.. so I dont have a specific one. Everyone looked great.
Best thing you bought:
I bought a new air soft gun. AND ITS SHINY! :sniper:
Best event:
FIGHT CLUB. Im sorry Catgirl ((if you can see this)) if I hurt you in any way shape or form. I had a great time fighting you. I wish I didn't schedule my Cosplay judging at the same time that event was.. and with swimsuit cosplay. I'm surprised I was able to make it in time for all of this.
Saddest moment:
hell... all of Sunday. I most definitely had a hard time keeping my phone with me. Thank you everyone who did lead me a helping hand. I turned out to be butterfingers at this con. Saturday I lost my badge twice because the pin wasn't aligned with the hook and it slid off. And of course Sunday with my cell phone.
Missing the Eureka 7 shoot because I was still asleep. :(
Things accomplished:
a lot. AND I MEAN A LOT. but I was able to keep my voice this entire con. That is the greatest accomplishment for me.
Anything else:
such... a.... rapist con. XD :doubledeuce:
I had a great time.. the things that I remember the most is Blitzball. My god that was so much fun! I hope to see that on the schedule next year.
Karaoke. Uh duh. I like to sing.
Fight Club was soo epic. I'm sorry that I didn't get to fight again and I had to rush the fight. But I believe that event was a great success. I'm definitely attending this again next year.
If not for my crazy costumes changing out constantly on Saturday, I think I would have stayed sane. But I'm thankful for the cosplay staff who did work through it and was all god-like. hahaha. Judging went fairly well, exception that I kept on losing stuff..
Swimsuit cosplay was tons of fun. I was happy to see the TTGL shoot that had to miss to be wet. But I had fun being on the other side of the window. Hahaha. It was pretty f-in hilarious if you ask me. You all got some epic pictures there.
Hsu nami. Their music was very entertaining.
I was happy to see all my friends again and I'm happy to meet new ones! I hope to see everyone next year and hopefully we'll all get pictures together. :D
:2cents:
djmaiku - April 14, 2008 02:39 PM (GMT)
| QUOTE (Voodoo Trucker @ Apr 14 2008, 01:15 AM) |
Best event:The Panda/Noah half of the rave. Maiku, you know what you're doing, but freakin Sandstorm? |
sorry, I needed a 5 minute song that would cover my trip to the bathroom. I was drinking water like a fish.
XD
Drakitha - April 14, 2008 04:34 PM (GMT)
Best moment: Realizing Nathan had been sleeping under the Con-Ops table several hours after I had been sitting there.
Best phrase: In the name of the moon, **** off.
Best cosplay: I really liked our Gurren group.
Best thing you bought: I only bought one thing, my Reno. I was sad I didn't have time to really visit the dealers room.
Best event: Even though I didn't get to attend this year, Kyo's Whos line. I liked the cosplay too.
Saddest moment: The end, though I was exhausted.
Things accomplished: Fighting the Power.
Anything else: Row Row!
Rakuen - April 14, 2008 04:36 PM (GMT)
Best moment: Ben absolutely destroying Mike Montagna's mouth at the breakdancing demo.
Best phrase: Besides "ROW ROW, FIGHT THE POWAH!"... "This guy here... well I don't know what the hell he does" or something like that. Thanks Mike. And for anyone that was there at opening ceremonies, I'm pretty much Ben's personal gopher. Beyond that, if someone grabs me *coughMichellecough* I'll help them. I think I made two dozen runs for supplies and stuff throughout the convention. If you saw someone running full tilt through the "back alley" of the hotel (you know, the other hallway to the elevator), that was probably me.
Best cosplay: Dangit, so many people I know that are capable of killing me if I don't pick them. Lothlin's Viral was freaking epic. And Celeste was awesome, as always.
Best thing you bought: Well, I only bought two things, and one of those was for someone else. So I guess it's the Princess Tutu boxset.
Best event: Whose Line is it Anime. What? Did you expect me to pick something else?
Saddest moment: Not telling.
Things accomplished: I don't think I accomplished much, besides helping our shows to run somewhat smoothly. So I'll go with meeting a bunch of people from the forums and (finally) some of Janette's friends.
Anything else: Staff was awesome. I hope to work with you all again next year.
Alatar - April 14, 2008 04:38 PM (GMT)
Best Moment: The TTGL Photoshoot / Ensueing march around the con.
Best Phrase: "This con is now 1337." (Thanks to the one guy who double-registered.)
Best Cosplay: Can't really say since there were a ton of good ones and my bias inclines me to vote for the other TTGL cosplayers. That being said, I always like seeing the obscure or less-watched anime cosplays so thanks to the Dr. Briefs, Cutie Honey, and Hakouro.
Best Thing You Bought: The Core Drill
Best Event: The Pre-Rave Breakdancing Show
You guys were awesome. Also the inclusion of so many choreographed TTGL songs made me very happy. Mad props to the Kittan who did so many of the dances that he almost passed out. Your determination was incredible. I'm hoping you get a King Kittan Giga Drill Breaker ready for next year.
Saddest Moment: Running over to the dealers room at 4 pm on Friday to be the first one to buy limited rare and imported merchandise from less popular anime series only to get there and find out that they were all selling the same overly popular mainstream crap that I could have bought for cheaper at any retail store in the US.
Things Accomplished: Meeting and hanging out with a lot of people. Having fun with the Gurren Brigage. Winning something in the cosplay contest.
Gram Cracker Castles, Iteration 1 and 2. I didn't build either of them, but I was watching and helping out while it was happening. That whole ordeal was great fun and we really should continue this somehow next year. The best of ideas really DO come from the con suite when we're all really bored.

PrettyPrincessHinata - April 14, 2008 05:57 PM (GMT)
Best moment: Laying on my back after being raved out, screaming "I'm a pretty princess!" to everyone who walked by.
Best phrase: "Sasuke's hands were WHERE?"
Best cosplay: Loved Grimmjow, Ulquiorra, Sexy Sasuke
Best thing you bought: Truly Kindly manga.
Best event: Spin the Kunai! :D
Things accomplished: Saw boys kiss, watched yaoi porn in the lobby, bought an assload of stuff in the dealer's room, and became an accessory in the Fight Club.
Saddest Moment: Not participating in the masquerade.
Anything else: I had a lot of fun at this con; thanks especially to everyone who made it awesome for me! :nyan:
Hunter of the Sharingan - April 14, 2008 06:45 PM (GMT)
Best moment: When matty stabbed me in the ass with a kunai and it broke! BUNS OR STEAL. also when some one took a pictuer of my nametag, because it said Hunter Thompson
Best phrase: "Mine's tucked in my sock, my socks are at home" - yes it is a dirty phrase
Best cosplay: My hinata, omg, she IS hinata, and sexy-sasuke, I LOVE YOU ROSE!
Best thing you bought: Didn't really buy that much...
Best event: anything pertaining to room 354
Saddest moment: when i had to leave, it took all of my energy to not break down in tears in the lobby, but i did cry when i got home
Things accomplished: meeting new people who will stay with me forever, seeing my old con friends
Anything else: this was the most fun i have ever had at a convention, i miss you all, love yas!
CrimsonDemon - April 18, 2008 07:12 AM (GMT)
Best moment: Hard to choose from considering the parties I went to, the bad anime cult, being on stage during closing ceremonies (even if I wasn't named), and the numerous other things I did that weekend.
Best phrase: "It's a scientology recruitment video"-me. Inreference to harmageddon (the movie we watched after we had to turn off the hentai in the bad anime room).
2nd: "I think it's about time you suck my cock."
Best cosplay: Sadly I didn't get to appreciate as much cosplay as I would of liked to due to staffing so I can't really say.
Best thing you bought: I finally have the complete video girl ai manga.
Best event: See best moment.
Saddest moment: Realizing after closing ceremonies that that was the longest possible amount of time before the next anime punch.
Things accomplished: 1.Ran into old friends, and made some new ones. 2. I was the leader of the bad anime cult after the original leader left, and eventually past the title to The Gay Jiraiya. 3. A couple of times I was given power I really had no business having (even outside of inheriting the title of leader of the bad anime cult). 4. Got a few hugs from random people (although not as many as last year :( )
Anything else/most frustrating moment:
Despite the fact that I was the one who got chewed out by both Neil (the head of the video programming), and Susan (the highest ranking con person beside for Mike) due to the bad anime cult, and was the one who did all the work arranging the 1am hentai showing I didn't get to be there (the 1am showing) becuase I was put on the rotation for watching the door at the rave. I'm glad to hear that the 1am hentai showing apparently went well (although I would like to think it would have been even better if I had been able to stay, and finish working on it like I wanted to)
To Jiraya sorry you got stuck watching the bad anime room for so long I had to leave, and legitamly thought another official staffer was going to take my place within five minutes of my leaving.
Sorry if the last part of this seems like me whining I just wanted to get it off my chest.

Best moment: Arriving at Anime Punch.
Best phrase: "Here, you can have the bottle cap back."
Best cosplay: Personally, I loved all the Gurren Lagann cosplays!
Best thing you bought: Bleach Blind Box: Vizard Ichigo (all thanks to Jackie<3)
Best useful thing bought: A 3 pc. sword stand. Now my swords don't have to lean against the wall like bums.
Best event: Hentai Olympics/Cosplay
Saddest moment: Wandering alone late Saturday night. Soo ronery
Things accomplished: Finally collected all of the Mushi-shi anime. Made a new friend, Blaine. I'm possibly a cosplay commisioner now.
Anything else: I really liked the set up this year, the sort of "J" shape of all the events were great so I couldn't really get lost. The Game room looked awesome. That's how a game room should be, devoid of light, just letting the amber glow of the t.v. screens illuminate the eyes of the gamers. Snow Balls definately kept me company while roaming the halls late Saturday night.

Who are you? I'm not sure I remember chewing anyone out over that...

only problem with that is it a tripping and secuirty hazard, ON TOP of the fact that is very easy to run short people over that way.
This is really the only NON DDR/Guitar hero Room I've ever seen that dark, and i really wasn't impressed by stumbling over every wire that came my way.....

I had no problem navigating through the game room.
I have 20/400 vision (For all you you who don't know, that means something someone with perfect vision can see clearly at 400 feet, I can see clearly at 20 feet.)
And I'm night blind.
Warning: Before someone with good vision asks to try on my glasses: Trying on my glasses has the same mental effects of being on drugs, as well as causing permanent eye damage. o_O

I also have horrible eyesight and I had no problem with the game room. I could see rather clearly, actually.
Plus I'm prone to tripping over nothing/myself/my pants, so if I managed without a hitch...
I thought the TVs all pretty much gave off quite enough light.
But, everyone's different...

"Who are you? I'm not sure I remember chewing anyone out over that..."-KaiserMikeB
It's me Robert from the staff (I'm assuming that is enough for you to figure out who I am if not I will add more to my description).
Also I didn't say anything about you chewing me out over it Mike it was Neil, and Susan. Althogh to be completely fair Neil really only told us to turn off the hentai till 11. As for Susan she came in a while after we turned off the hentai and made a comment along the lines of "Robert your a part of this?" (but with one of those tones and looks where if looks could kill it would have). To be fair to Susan we might have been a little loud due to the amount of people who stayed after the hentai was turned off who were talking, and generally having fun (I'm not sure just how loud we were but I can't think of any other reason Susan would have come in when she did).
Susan also made some comments about how she didn't care about the bad anime room (which might be why Jiraya ended up watching over it for five hours or more after I left instead of an actual staffer) when I was trying to get it back under control, and trying to set up the 1am hentai showing.
I could probably list some more things but I'm starting to feel like a tattle tale/whiner not to mention I completly appreciate how stressed out Susan must have been by that point so there is a good chance that any excessive attitude (or whatever you want to call it) she directed at me wasn't really meant for me as much as she was just venting her stress about the con itself at me as such I don't hold anything against her for it.
Again I want to emphasize I hold nothing against the con, Susan, Neil, and most of all you Mike. I apologize if I seem to be making to much out of this or if I am being melodramatic again I just wanted to get it off my chest. I am also definitely willing to staff again next and for as long as I am both able and welcome so I clearly wasn't to shaken up by it.
