I'm going as Archer as long as nothing happens to force me not to go and if I come then I'm bringing a Illyasviel von Einzbern with me who may or may not switch to a Rin Tōsaka costume during the con days. I also know that two members of my schools anime club are going as Rin Tōsaka and Sakura Matō. I would like to know if any other people are planning to come in a Fate/Stay Night costume as well.

i will be cosplaying saber on saturday, and my friend will be cosplaying her in normal attire along with me.

I hope one day to go as archer with a girl dressed as saber, cause I've got the armor already made. But this con is Gurren Lagann for me. Fate stay is a ways off for me cause I still have four props to make, two swords for archer, riders weapon, and sabers sword. And a whole mess of Tsubasa weapons :D ;

And I still want to figure out a way to make the gauntlets/boots, there HAS to be a way to do it, there just has to be.

Somewhere along the lines of sanding a prop for hours on end only to have to go back later and sand the primer off to fix one very minor flaw missed.

Duct tape armor is one of those things that keep me and my comrades awake at night in a cold sweat, and that's not even the thought of us being involved with it. Truly frightening. Heh, yea Rak- I'd say Ben has perhaps a teeny bit more than slightly higher standards. Not to mention that according to Sugoicon he's an experienced Metalworker. Which came as a surprise to all of us as he's never made anything out of metal unless maybe you count buildings. We could make some kickin' sweet props out of it though.

Extra note: Montagna gets everywhere, you can't keep him out especially with violence. Mainly because he's usually already got himself hurt in the first place and is well on his way to a 2nd injury

I'm aware of how to work with metal though, it's just never been necessary past erecting hospitals :blink:
Though making Riders weapon the way I wish to will require a bit of steel, so soon I'll have an example :lol:

For the time being, Lothlins chopper is placed in a shrine or protective cloths in a high place, surrounded by pillows. I also talked to a shamen about coming in to cast protective wards and a contractor is coming this afternoon to raise a barbed wire fence, and I've already got a sniper keeping watch with instruction to go for the head followed by BOTH hands of anyone who gets within 2 yards. It's less than I'd like but I think it should keep people away as long as I pay attention.

....Well Saturday is going to be fun for me....Have to go as Shikamaru for the Naruto photo shoot....then magically grow back my stubble for Shunsui for the bleach one then get into the tight Archer outfit for the rest of the day and eventually the cosplay contest assuming that I don't have to have it on at another time for the judging....In the future maybe I should stick to one costume or two obscure and one popular costume. :P *Starts running around to finish his preparations for Friday*

Our pleasure. Tomorrow we are going as Archer, Illyasviel, Rin , and Sakura. I'm staying in Archer my sister(who was Rin)is switching to Illyasviel and two of my friends are going as Rin and Sakura. Still going to hope to find others however small the chance. Also Ben that was a good panel on prop crafting....lets see if I can use that to make Archer's swords. *sweat drop* Know I'll fail the first 2 of 40 times but we'll see.
