I picked up some Gainer DVD's for cheap(around $5).

I however, have not watched the DVD's yet. I have Volumes 1,2 and 4. I want to know how epic the series is before I cram time for it between playing Mass Effect and Call of Duty 4 obsessively and reading Cable and Deadpool.

I love mecha and I've heard Mike talk about it at a convention (Ikasucon... maybe?) in a positive light if I remember correctly.

Does it also have any good Cosplay ideas? My girlfriend and I are more in tune with Comics and Videogames nowadays but are looking to get back into anime outside my Gundam and Macross obsession.

I paid three dollars each my copies of those same titles. Haven't watch them yet. I got a bunch of other cheap series I need to go through so it could take some time before I get to them.

What I remember watching was pretty good, don't remember much else, this was a couple years back. Might as well watch it if you bought it though.

I wish I remember where I saw it, I think it was a con.
