Will there be any other Kingdom Hearts cosplayers?

I'm going to be going as a punk/rave Roxas.

I don't know about anyone else. But I'm so excited...I've been wanting to do a Kingdom Hearts cosplay for a while now. ^^

I think you should've read a little more about the con, or lurked more on the forums before even considering cosplaying Kingdom Hearts for Anime Punch.

This is an anime convention, not a video game convention. Refer to the website for clarification, or for the other KH thread.

But Kingdom Hearts is also a manga.

I take it Manga cosplays aren't allowed either?
(Yes I read the website, that said about how AP is an ANIME convention...)

The KH manga is probably another invocation of the FF7 Last Order "Don't be a rules lawyer" rule.

The cosplay contest is where nonanime cosplays aren't allowed anymore. There's no convention dress code for regular attendees. Even though there are still a few nonanime events carried over from previous years, the manga reading room isn't one of them. So there's no rule that says you can't cosplay a manga character at Anime Punch, but there also isn't much of a reason to do it.

Yeah, I don't plan on entering in the cosplay contest. I would enter one of my anime cosplays if I plan to do that. ^^

I just plan to cosplay for the love of cosplay. Corny/Lame...but true. Lol

You should wear your Kingdom Hearts cosplay to another con then ^_^

There are many many "anything goes" cons. Saving it for one of them might be a good idea. Maybe you could compromise by wearing it to the rave?

The Rave is still a part of Anime Punch, what would wearing it there justify wearing it at all?

If it works as rave gear, I have no problem with you wearing it to the rave. A lot of people have seperate rave outfits.

I think we need to make a forum sticky about this subject, it's come up way too much.

In short, something that says something like 'Respect our preference for anime cosplays, and we will respect you for respecting us. You won't get laughed at, made fun of, or berated if you do decide to eschew the wishes of the head staffers and wear a video game cosplay, but we may make sad faces in con ops. If someone DOES do any of the above to you, report it, because abuse is not to be tolerated.

That said, if anyone tries to enter the cosplay contest with a video ga,e cosplay for the cosplay contest, it will not be accepted. There are rules which everyone has to abide by'
