Well, since there is almost a MONTH left to the con and no-one else has done this, I will....


I know a few DJ's who already want to rock the night. Since there is no kind of schedule or lineup other than a few I already know, I want to know if anyone here has the skills needed to play at this con? Also, since no-one seems to be in charge of the dance, I am volunteering since I am the other half doing audio for main events. Also, along with some awesome party lights, I will be VJ'ing for this shindig.

Anyway, if it's ok, I will go ahead and book/make schedule etc. Someone let me know if this is already going on since I haven't heard anything about it.

I've already got a rough dance schedule, though another DJ or two wouldn't hurt. There are a couple guys who emailed a while back that I need to follow up on.
I assume Will won't be in town?

I'm not going to lie. The dance is probably my favorite part of most cons I've been to.

Well, you mentioned Panda, I know Aki will be more than happy to have a set, I am going to try and get ahold of AJ "Ed" and see if he will confirm. I would like to open a audition over the next few weeks, I can setup an FTP or something and would love to hear some other talent, Besides the people listed above, is there anyone else on the "confirmed" list?

I've never actually been ble to stay for the dance or rave or whatever other late night activities because we've always been n other hotes, but this year we got a room at the con hotel, so I'm excited!

I've been in contact with a number of hopeful DJ's for months now, I've got this under wraps yo. DJ Maiku and Panda are definitely in. If AJ thought he could make it he would be in by now.

I'm open to suggestions, if you have any contact info to give me.

I had been meaning to ask if you up for VJ'ing this year. From your post I guess you are, assuming we have a spare projector

OK, just wanted confirmation on all that... And yeah, I will be throwing up my vid skillz... Or something like that, lol

I started my own thread but I wanted to make sure this got out as much as possible.

For those who don't know yet, outside where the dance will be, right after the concert saturday, I and a small team of dancers will be actually performing while the DJ's set up, so be sure to hang out cause It's going to be awesome.

There will be lots of breakdancing as well as some other interesting things that will prove very entertaining, and afterwards I believe the plan was to teach the masses how to break themselves!

We'll be breaking to some well known anime tunes right outside where the dance will be, so be sure to come by :)
