I don't rember alot about that show, i just know that i liked it. Also it being on toonami back when i was a huge dbz fan, i think tenchi was around that time too. Toonami use to kick ass.

I love Outlaw Star. I have the box set. I hope to one day cosplay Aisha. Old School Toonami FTW. It's what got me into Anime. DBZ, Sialor Moon, Ronin Warriors, Gundam Wing.

I remember that. I loved aisha so much when she teased jim just like he was a little brother. you can see it in bits and pieces of the episodes. I thought the looked so good together I made this. user posted image

One awesome theme song, I never saw much but I remember that.

There are few days where I don't wish the Outlaw Star theme was playing in my background

sesshouga - March 10, 2008 07:46 PM (GMT)
I think that to this day, Outlaw Star still remains one of my favorite anime. I always liked Suzuka. She was awesome.

I loved the hot springs episode!

Mmm, I remember you 6th grade.

I loved Outlaw Star. xD

I have a picture I made in 5th or6th grade of Gene... I have hearts around him and it says something like, "I could just kiss him"

Wow.

All I remember thinking is, "this isn't quite Cowboy Bebop."

It was probably quite unfair for Outlaw Star that I had watched Bebop and Firefly only a short time before.

Outlaw Star has one of the few voice actors I've always known the name of. Also, it was one of the first things we encountered at Ohayocon...6 years ago? A guy that was halfway decently dressed as Ron Mcdougal had a sign saying if you knew who he was and from what he'd give you, I dunno- pocky probably. Anyway, my brother guessed it correctly. Poor firefly, I'm told by a couple people it was good, and by more people it wasn't. Although my brother did get a kick out of the Outlaw Star sorta ripoff beginning.

I watched Cowboy Bebop a bit after I saw Outlaw Star. I saw Cowboy Bebop on AS and Outlaw Star on Toonami-The Midnight Run.

Outlaw Star was by far the thing that really got me into anime. Before that I had only seen things like Pokemon and Digimon. I was Outlaw Star and it just like, completely blew my mind, a whole new world opened up to me. Will always be a personal favorite.

I'm cosplaying Gene for Sugoicon.

Hunter of the Sharingan - March 13, 2008 11:20 PM (GMT)

The History Follower - March 14, 2008 10:08 PM (GMT)
What's kind of wierd is how much I really liked this show yet I've never seen all of it. I only watch it sporactically on Toonami. But I still think it's a great series.

i got the boxset for 20 bucks when Mediaplay was going out of business.

I've only watched it once and thought it was ok since i saw Cowboy Bebop before watching this also.

I love this show.

did anyone hear the spoony bards play the melfina song at the con? i basically crapped myself.

Ichi - April 15, 2008 12:39 AM (GMT)
Gah I remember loving everything about Outlaw. Gene was a badass and Jim was hilarious. But one of my favorite part of the show was the music! I loved the end themes but for some reason I can't remeber the opening...I'll definatly have to watch it again after I'm done with Hitman Reborn.

sesshouga - April 15, 2008 01:49 AM (GMT)
The opening theme was badass. It was called "Through the Night".

Phyxi - April 15, 2008 06:54 PM (GMT)
Aisha is for sure my favorite catgirl of all time. The theme IS badass and it's by.......*checks iPod*.....Masahiko Arimachi.

bluenigma - April 15, 2008 07:02 PM (GMT)
It also wins my award for the "most blatantly 90's" opening. =P

Ichi - April 15, 2008 07:47 PM (GMT)
Thanks for the opener info guys! ^^
