We don't have planning for Fieldcon really it just kind of happens, but if anyone is willing to mention something they would like to do in advance, there is more likely-hood that we can do it if we have serious materials to help. I'm willing to bring what I can!

I have some things in mind to bring, but like as in tools, events, things that MAY need outside source that isn't 15-20 minutes away. . . mention it.

It sucks when your there and realize something you forgot, or wish you had boughten. :]

I liked the live action Duck Hunt, just not at NIGHT XD.

Personally, I think making a yearly event of push-the-tree-off-the-cliff-then-burn-it would be awesome, but well... we may run out of dead trees quickly. Also, guys, SERIOUSLY, someone besides me bring a hatchet. Come on! I still can't believe I'm the only freaking one who did.

I think a big stew cook should be a formal aspect of the event.

Nerf guns sound like a hassle, and a mess at the end. But I don't see a reason not to have them. Water guns sound like a must, though. (as long as the pump near us is working!)

Last year we had to travel up the hill. :[

I've got a quick question. What is the policy on Firearms?

I've got an assorment of Pistols and shotguns and didn't know if thses would be a good thing to bring or not. I'll have a vehicle there to lock them up in when things start to get...out of control, but thought it might be best to get some opinions first. And no, they won't be used for Live Action duck hunt. I'll bring some targets for us to shoot at, incase anyone wanted to try and fire a wide variety of weapons.

Of course, none of this may happen depending on the weapon policy of the camp as well, so no one get your hopes up too high.

It could be fun but at the same time very dangerous. I'd say no, but I'm no authority on this.

I think firearms are not allowed in that area. Same with fireworks. Since there are a number of nearby campsites, including the one where the caretaker lives, I think we would get mega busted.

That being said, maybe we should plan a trip to a shooting range sometime.

shooting range would be fun, we should all cosplay too. :P

I may be very wrong, as it's been years, but I don't think cosplay and shooting range would mix all to well. Though the idea itself is a nice one.

Yeah, I don't think cosplay and shooting range mixes very well. It would be very dangerous unless your cosplay was extremely casual and lightweight.

LOL maybe we should make targets! Like big cardboard drawn "villains" from animes and target them. (IF were talking about paintball guns of course, or something safer than real guns!)

but seriously I think that we should have a tent making contest! we give each group 2 tarps and they have to go out and find whatever they can to make the rest of the tent out of and make it the largest homemade tent. they are also timed on it so the first group done in the shortest time wins.

Cosplay and shooting range mix well if the girls cosplay Rushuna from Grenadier and reload their guns the same way she does.

You know what? I honestly think cosplay and a shooting range is a really, really, ridiculously bad idea. There is a time and a place for dressing up in costume, and a range where people are handling and shooting deadly weapons is NOT THE TIME AND PLACE. Not even in joking.

Like I said, make cardboard cut outs to shoot or throw things at?... burn? >:3

1.) Its fieldcon. There are ALWAYS boobs.
2.) We love Boobs.
3.) You haven't been here long enough to UNDERSTAND us and Boobs.

1. stew: sounds awesome and I can bring some extra seasonings. my dad's got this awesome creole seasoning he puts on just about everything. Potatoes are always good as well. I've always played with the idea of breaking up beef jerky and adding it to a stew on camping trips because in it's dried form it can keep forever, then when you put it in the stew it should soak up moisture and soften from the broth. Homemade jerky would work best on this ;)

2. what about bows and arrows instead of the firearms? Miccy could still make her targets and we would still have a bit of a shooting range of our own that's silent. The only thing would be finding people with bows and arrows we could bring. I've got a couple people I work with who have some, but idk if they'd let me borrow them.

3. shooting range trip does sound sweet. I haven't been to one in years. I also agree that cosplay wouldn't be the best idea unless it was something completely hot and like mentioned before, easy to move around in. Basically . . . lots of skin showing haha (and cleavage because everyone here is so obsessed with boobs XD)

I still don't think any sort of real projectile weapons are a good idea. We'll always have idiots joining us at Fieldcon and let's not forget that when the night comes, those idiots will become drunken idiots. We could use something less dangerous like (already said somewhere in the above posts) paintball guns or nerf guns. We could even use water guns and fill them with bukkake for the hentai olympics XD

Yeah and also, our base only extends so far, where projectiles could go a lot longer, and possibly hit someone beyond our camp. So, I think that's a terrible idea and should be some other get together in the correct setting. But something like Nerf guns or water guns is a great idea :D Providing the night isn't as cold as last time x.x

With the stew can't wait to bring out my stew pot. WIth nerf guns can't wait to bring out the stefans and some of my crazy stuff(Gauss gun and so forth).

But wouldn't it be more fun if we were all freezing our buns off? XD
