There comes a point when you suspect the acronym has got too long to be practically useful. Such a one is MMORPG, but I'd happily wallow in its silliness for hours if it meant avoiding the MMORPG that this post is about...
Yes, the online multiplayer world of Hello Kitty is almost with us. You can subscribe to the closed beta for now, but it will soon be open to all. Players will pilot their character's way through Flower Kingdom, London, Paris, Moscow, Tokyo and more, solving puzzles and creating a virtual world around them as they go. Linked to SanrioTown.com this aims to bring together all the virtues of social networking, Warcraft-esque multiplayer games and Second Life-style communities. Put like that, you can almost forget that the blasted cat is at the centre of it... Almost. But, sadly, not completely.

I cant wait for this game to come out :lolguy: anyone planning to play this? it looks cute as hell, i feel silly but i probly will play it. :unsure:

Part of me doesn't want to believe this, the music alone scares me. xD
Ah, I might try it for kicks, but I believe I've had enough of MMORPG to last me.

But Yuffie, this isn't just any MMORPG. This is the Hellp Kitty MMORPG. Instead of playing with a bunch of World of Warcraft nerds, you'll be playing with a bunch of anime nerds. There are already three of us. By the time we get the Anime Punch Hello Kitty MMORPG Guild (APHKMMORPGG) established, there could be more than three of us! I don't know what Hello Kitty is about, but I do know that there are three of us.

Heh, I just recently came to conclusion that the look on Pj's face when I announce I'm giving up WoW to play Hello Kitty would make it worth it. ^_^
