Anyone going as anybody from Final Fantasy?
I'm going as Yuna from Final Fantasy X. I'd sure like to have my piccy taken with a Rikku or Tidus or someone. =]

I'm being Cloud from Crisis Core and my friend Trish is being Kadaj ^_^ I might have a Zack for Karaoke saturday =o! I'm gonna be singing "Why" and if I do have a Zack by then we're going to do a duet ^_^

I plan on taking so many pictures. I'm actually considering buying another memory card for my camera. ^^;

I was planning on being Luneth from FFIII, not alot of FFIII cosplays out there.

Y'know. The only Final Fantasy games I've ever played were X (LOVED IT!) and X-2 (Not so much)
So that's why I had to decided between Yuna and Rikku.
Twas a tough decision. :P

As a general notice to cosplayers... again


We are an anime con, so if at all possible cosplay anime characters.

That means if you have 3 cosplays, (say Barrett, Vegita, and Tsunade), then you should leave Barrett at home. If you're planning to make a cosplay, then choose an anime one, even if you originally wanted to do Zelda or something.

If you only have one cosplay in the whole wide world, and you can not possibly make another, and that cosplay happens to be Chun-Li, then go ahead and wear her, but don't talk about it on the forums, or encourage other people to do so please.

Was there a Final fantasy anime movie? if there was woud ibe ok for someone to cosplay person from that movie? Just thought i woud ask.

There was no FF anime movie. There were 2 anime OVAs (Legend of the Crystals and Last Order), 2 CGI movies (Spirits Within and Advent Children), and one series (Unlimited). Source is Wikipedia.

Saying Cloud/Sepiroth is an anime cosplay because he was in Last Order seems to be a bit of a stretch.

Thats nice to know, i am not a big Final fantasy fan myself so i did not realy know.

The way I see it, if it's an anime-original/exclusive character from an FF anime, then fine.

Just because one of the game characters appears in an anime created years later does not make it an anime cosplay.

The FF OVA and FFU are both totally legit things to cosplay from. FF7 Last Order is a major stretch. As I said in another thread, leave the technicalities and cop-outs to lawyers and internet know-it-all douchebags.

ok just to clear up this whole ff anime thing ff7 is an anime... its only one episode and it was released in the special edition of advent children only in japan making it almost ridiculous to find, but it does exist i kno because ive seen it.

It is also the will of the Kaiser that FF7 Last Order be considered nothing more than an extended game cutscene, and thus, cosplaying from it is really looking hard for a loophole.

Final Fantasy shoot -Friday 8pm

Kingdom Hearts Shoot- Sat 3pm

Video game Shoot- sunday at 11am

Pickup for all the shot bodies-1pm sunday

Isn't it ok to have little get together kind of photoshoots? =[ Not professional or anything. Is it really against the rules for a group of cosplayers to get together?

I am not staff jurisdiction, but use common sense...do you really honestly think they're going to come after you and stop you guys if you're having a good time and not in the way of events that are running? I'd hope not.

However, would it be a fairly insensitive thing to do so knowing the wishes on the staff? Probably.
