In planning for Fieldcon I realize I need to get a tent. I was wondering if anyone knows of somewhere in the Columbus Area where you can rent tents? Or buy one for cheap? Or even anyone who has a spare tent. Just throwing it out there, thanks.

I don't think that they should be too much for a single one, at most I'm sure they're 40-50 dollars. (granted, I COULD look it up)

Maybe when we get more people posting, you can find someone with an extra tent you can borrow!

Aldies has 3 person tents for 20$ and sleepying bags for $9.99 rights now.

If you're a single occupancy, or don't mind being really close to your tentmate, wal-Mart has a nice little deal 5X6 for like 18.25 including taxes. I just got one myself.

Supposedly its for kids, but 6 feet is long enough for most people to be comfortable, unless you are as tall as Britachi :P

i might go, i have a lil friend who STILL a boyscout or helps out idk anyway he got lot of extra tents an stuff if ya wanna borrow one ill ask him, that is if we go T_T they havent emailed us back yet so sad...

Well as in tons I mean probably two extra. Mom found someone that gave away rather new tents to her and she has them. :]

So hopefully NO ONE (specifically that one guy that's friend wouldn't let him sleep in the tent... and I let him sleep in mine...and I stayed up...) will have to sleep without a tent or anything. :[


Anyway, I'll update when I know if I can borrow the tents or not. :D

I have a 3-room tent. Meaning there's three seperate rooms in it.

Bear and I shall be in it, and I think he's been telling others that they can be in it.

If anyone is interested here is a list of a few of the things I can bring assuming I can remember where they are, and they are still in good condition.
1. A large tent (I think it can fit 5-8 people comfortably).
2. Numerous sleeping bags and pillows.
3. At least one hatchet.
4. A chainsaw.
5.Waterguns, and Nerfguns (although the ammo is sure to be impossible to find).
6. Books of scary stories to tell around the campfire.
7. Fishing equipment (incase there is a body of water nearby the campground)
8. flashlights, and lanterns
If any of this is going to be needed during fieldcon please let me know so that I know what to look for, and if there is anything else needed that I didn't list please tell me as I might have that to but didn't think to list it.

However, my fam may be going on vacation during that time. ;_; I reaaaally want to go this year.

I rather not have nerf guns, chasing after darts is lame.

Water guns or Airsofts are prefered.

Don't shoot people with airsoft guns if they don't want.
