Title: Naruto Competition!

Vincent - January 23, 2008 04:10 PM (GMT)
Compete to see how you match up to your favorite orange jumpsuited ninja in this amazing event! Contestants will battle it out to see who can swallow the most noodles in the shortest amount of time in a no rules match to the death!

Yeah.. Basically this is another request for a ramen eating contest. Requests for one happen every year that I have been goinf to Anime Punch and I must ask, Will this be the year it finally happens? I doubt it, but it was worth bringing up.

I'd totally enter an eating contest of any sort.....but not if it's Naruto themed. Ewww....

rpb3000 - January 24, 2008 03:53 AM (GMT)
I humbly request that this thread be retitled "Ramen Eating Contest" and that we have this event at the con.

Because ramen's cheap, delicious, and eating contests amuse me to no end.

Vincent - January 24, 2008 02:46 PM (GMT)
Yeah, the title was just a disguise. Me trying to be sneaky. Lol I figured.. "Ramen eating competition" no one will look, because it's been brought up before. So I just made something up.

Kamiokande - January 25, 2008 04:07 AM (GMT)
It could have a theme from some other anime if Naruto doesn't get enough interest. Slayers, Dragonball, and Ranma can work too.

I would gladly participate in such an event! I would fell the mightiest of stomachs with my patented Stuff j00r Facezorrs© Technique! :domo:

For anyone who hasn't realized, this is actually just a request for a ramen eating contest, I just figured putting Naruto in the title would make people look. xD

I have a feeling that ramen holds it's own weight even WITHOUT Naruto!

...just ask anyone <3

Udon would be better, it's a lot heartier, with thicker noodles and other goodies. If you want a contest go to Pochi and make their business boom! XD

As with most convention hotels we are simply not allowed to provide our own hot food in their meeting areas.

In short: This won't be happening.

We could have it in a room or something? I mean.. What they don't know won't hurt us..

What if they did find out?

Hyper Puppy - March 7, 2008 03:26 AM (GMT)
If anything it sounds like it could be a good thing to do at fieldcon. everyone is most likely going to be bringing a ton of ramen anyway, so you can hold the competition there ^-^

Or we could focus our energies on doing something that doesn't require us to sneak around.

Vincent - March 7, 2008 02:09 PM (GMT)
Yeah, but the sneaking is half the fun! Haha, no. Yeah, maybe fieldcon.
