Will there be Karaoke this year? I left early last year and regretted it... so I don't know if there was or not. I wanna sing but of course, knowing me, I'm nervous X3

We will have at least one, probably two Karaoke sessions at AP this year.

Usually what you do is you approach Bear's (the fellow who runs karaoke) table, and he has a sign up sheet. Make sure he has your song if you don't have it, then sign up, and wait your turn~

I don't think that'll slide with Bear. He wouldn't let one of my friends sing a Backstreet Boys song. Bear likes to keep it anime/video games/and some j-rock.

It could just be he's a militant NSYNC fan that loathes BSB. Maybe if your friend made the RIGHT decision and requested some NSYNC, it would have gone much differently.

But, yeah, back to reality...

DDR is a game. I don't believe game Karaoke is allowed, since this is, afterall and anime convention.


And I think I've at least decided on singing Runner from the Macross TV series. Amazing song.

Well, songs like Cat's Eye (anime theme, redone in English) and Sobakasu and Trust should be allowed if they are the DDR versions...

I mean, those songs are all Anime remakes. :o Like.. hm..

I believe Karaoke is another place where the all anime rule doesn't apply. It just has to be Japanese. At least, I believe so from Armegedicons past. It's really something for Mike to deliberate.

Karaoke is also anime centric, but I leave it to the host to decide what is ok and what isn't. I'm sure a few non anime songs will present themselves, and that's fine.
