Title: Old shows you miss?
Description: Not just anime

Vincent - January 2, 2008 03:21 PM (GMT)
I think there was a topic about this.. But I don't know.. So heres another one. Here you can talk about shows you watched when you were younger that are no longer on and you you miss, and not just anime.

Let's see.. I miss.. Cardcaptors, Ronin Warriors, The Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog, Captain Planet, the original megaman cartoons.. So many good things no longer availible on tv. T_T

The Powerpuff Girls, and Voltron.

Vincent - January 2, 2008 07:15 PM (GMT)
Oh yeah.. Voltron.. They were showing that on adult swim for a while..

smokie - January 2, 2008 07:22 PM (GMT)
Spiderman the Animated Series, X-Meb Animated series, the Ruby Spears Megaman cartoon Vincent mentioned, Transformers Beast Wars(hasn't aged well), The DC animated universe Batman cartoons, Freakazoid, Speed Racer, Big Guy and Rusty the Boy Robot, and Swat Kats. Swat Kats was the shit.

Codi - January 2, 2008 07:44 PM (GMT)
Monster Rancher, Freakazoid, Mon Colle Knights, David the Gnome, Super Mario Brothers Super Show, Jem, and Rocko's Modern Life.

KaiserMikeB - January 2, 2008 08:21 PM (GMT)
I second Rocko's Modern Life.

The Odyssey http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0103504/
One of my favorite shows of all time.

smokie - January 2, 2008 11:35 PM (GMT)
Oh and how could I forget the Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat cartoons they showed on USA? They were sweet.

Rakuen - January 3, 2008 05:19 AM (GMT)
Freakazoid, Rocko's Modern Life, Dexter's Laboratory (old seasons, not the recast), Megaman, Pinky & The Brain, Super Mario Brothers Super Show... I could probably think of some more later.

Vincent - January 3, 2008 03:23 PM (GMT)
I keep seeing more old shows I love from you people. Freakazoid and monster rancher are awesome. Also, season 1 of Digimon. Not exactly old but still hard to find on TV. I mean, they show digimon on toon disney I think, but they mix like, all the seasons together. Rocko's modern life is awesome, and I actually have a channel that still shows it. :o

Yuffie - January 8, 2008 01:36 AM (GMT)
It always just the most random digimon shows, but usually season 1. Digimon series 3, I'd kill to see again.

Actually, I just remembered a couple more, Doug and Wishbone.

sesshouga - January 13, 2008 02:56 AM (GMT)
Anybody remember Rainbow Brite? That show was bomb.

Anybody remember Rainbow Brite? That show was bomb.

That was before you were born.

I was excited about American Gladiators coming back but it turns out the new one has bad lighting, corny trash talk, and Hulk Hogan. One should not have a fictional character as a regular interviewer for a real sport.

I remember in Rainbow Brite (I'm thinking it was the movie) where Murky calls Lurky a nincompoop and I'd laugh and laugh foreverrrr.
Grimm's Fairy Tale Classics was awesome and so was The Noozles. Though watching them now it's just... yikes. Eureka's Castle wasn't too bad. Where in the World is Carmen San Diego (the game show) was fun to watch even though I was too young and stupid to answer any of the geography questions when it aired.

Anyone watch Star Faeries when they were a kid? I wish I knew where my tapes were because I really loved it.

I'm surprised no one mentioned it yet, but... PIRATES OF THE DARK WATER! Hello?!

smokie - January 13, 2008 03:45 PM (GMT)
Pirates of Dark Water was awesome.

Fuck the Smurfs though! Narcissistic little cunts naming everything after themselves.

Jnkolm - January 13, 2008 09:19 PM (GMT)
I won't rename what's already in this thread other then Megaman, because it merits repeating. If you saw the episode that had Megaman X tearing everything up then you win. what at? IT. And I am keeping track.

Also I would mention that one show I loved was Reboot. Yea that's right, Reboot. I believe there was also a Battletech cartoon or anime or something. I barely remember it, except a Hunchback totally blasted some Axeman once. I can't remember the other titles I used to watch unfortunately..but there ya go.

I know of a certain all-red-ranger special episode that proves otherwise.

Not that I could stomach very many minutes of Power Rangers at a time, but from what I did see, the red ranger was the cannon fodder of the group.
