So anyway.. There would be a panel.. And the people hosting it would look at anime coming out soon, or that were recently released and then give a brief description of each anime and a score, Good- an anime that everyone will enjoy, Ok- an anime that isn't necessarily bad, it's just made for a specific audience, and WTF- Anime so horrible they make you want to kill yourself, anime that no one should EVER watch.. That sort of this.

I'm sure something to this effect already exists..But what can I say, I'm lazy.

Uh if it hadn't started to air yet or had only a couple episodes aired how could you determine if its good or not? Many animes change over the course of the series. A recent example being Myself;Yourself. It started off as a mundane dating sim anime and turned out to have some trippy mind fuck moments. Well mind fuck is an overstatement but they were unexpected to say the least.

I mean, sometimes I hear about anime from friends and go to watch it and it's like... uh... this sucks?

Of course, everyone has different views but I'm sure that people in group would find someone with similar taste and maybe work from that?

I think we had something like this last year, and I hope to have something like that this year. It's a good idea, and would be useful for anime fans who don't have all the time in the world to preview all the new shows coming out.

Of course I would like to focus more on stuff that is about to come out here on DVD, rather than the LATEST THING, which always seemed silly to me. Of corse if something truely worthy was coming out I would like to see it featured as well.

The problem is finding someone that on top of things, though I might know one or two people.

My friends and I kinda stay on top of it. ^^

I know you can find out the newest stuff coming out on DVD if you go to certain stores. They have these neat little book things that tell you what's coming out within the next like, two or three months!

I typically keep up with things on the horizon in Japan. I'm not real hardcore but I keep my eyes open. Big things by the time AP rolls around will be Code Geass season 2 and there will be a big buzz for Haruhi season 2 which will either air this summer or fall.
