I'm going as Gaara of the Sand

Not sure who I'm going as just yet, but I've only ever done one cosplay and I'm only planning one more, so you can bet my gender lines will be smuged. For sure, though, I'll be Gippal from FF X-2 and probably Cloud from Advent Children.

I've only done one too, it was a sailor mercury one.. omg never again... TT_TT I'm sticking to guy outfits. We were walking down the street to the anime party (me and my two best friends) and people were honking their horns at us >.< That's why I'm doing Gaara... well that and I just love him. Hopefully this one will turn out better than my other costume too (which sucked royaly).

I really liked our Sailor outfits, heh, 'cept trying to cross the railroad tracks in high heels XD

That wasn't fun >.< at least when i go as Shuichi I can wear boots...

Woo! I just realized I can wear regular shoes! -high fives and shed tears of joy-

I can wear my costomary black boots.. But their at my brothers >.< I don't even have shoes for school tomorrow. i gotta go buy some to last until I get mine back

I would definately be crossplaying. Either Tai or Kouichi from Digimon (considering Joshua Seth and Crispan Freeman will be there) depending on circumstances. Both are comfortable and easy (for once).

They are fun ^^ everyone always says either 'I hope you trip on those' or 'Where did you get them? I want a pair!' its funny. I've never tripped though. and yeah, they do sound like a torture device kat xDDD

Haha, I can imagine! I'd be one of those asking where you got them, heh. Not a huge flip-flop wearing fan, but those sound too amusing to not ask. XD

We're cosplaying at Youmacon as Eiri and Shuichi from Gravitation (previously posted elsewhere). Tonight we had a hair dye festival in preparation for the con and I must say we nailed Eiri's colour for my head. Her hair does funny things with hair colouring so we'll see what it looks like for the con. Right now it's a crazy kick ass color dark red. We figure it'll be pink by the con since that's what happened the last time she dyed it red.

We're still undecided about Anime Punch. Though from what I've seen on the site and read here in the forums I think it'd be a blast.

A friend of mine is trying to convince me to cosplay as a male Hinata, since I act like Hinata, so she says. So I might do that, as I coincidentally came upon a Headband.

Some friends of mine might be making me a very special cosplay, but what it is is a secret!

Well, Ive decided to go as both Kamatari from RK and Nuriko from Fushigi Yugi, but since both are guys who dress like girls, would you call that crossplaying?

That's hard to say (assuming you're a guy). On a technical level, definatly no, since you're the proper sex for your character. At the same time, your characters are crossdressing... so it isn't crossplay, but is crossdressing!

Me and Kat are also thinking about doing our Naruto crossplay for one day, a FuRuBa Crossplay for one day, and then just a FF Cosplay for one day. Ah, choices, choices, choices. . .

That sounds cool, I had to switch mine because I have had problems binding up again for Sano... But Enishi is still a go and my friend is going as Misao now.

My only crossplay for this con is Kyo Sohma from Fruits Basket. Its so weird not going a bunch of boys for once :D

You never (or rarely) see any male crossplayers...

Because, we can't simply wrap ourselves up and stuff a hotdog down our pants. For a male to properly crossplay it would take hours of pain and annoyance trying to get everything looking right. And thats before you even get the costume on.
