It's a bit early but I'd like to get some ideas for what people would like to have as a photoshoot. AP likes to officially sanction photoshoots so that every group can be given a chance for a good location ^_^
I think this year we may actually have a well-lit room!

Sometimes if there is a lot of hodge-podge groups, we end up doing an "Underappreciated but still kicks ass!!" photoshoot. :D

I'm willing to bet there will be enough people for an air gear, shoot, if you do it Codi that means the staffers ALONE will fulfill that requirement (if Mike is right and Ben is going to do it... does he mean Whose Line Ben, or someone else?)

eh, Michael is confused about a lot of things sometimes. At anyrate, 4 people this early on and a scheduled shoot is guarenteed to bring more airgear cosplayers out of the woodwork. I would say a photoshoot is in order.

As for Final Fantasy... Michael said it an extremely rude way but hes right. I'm going to adhere to the ideals of an anime-focused con and not schedule things for Final Fantasy / Kingdom Hearts / Street Fighter / SNK vs Capcom / Guilty Gear video games.

Bitchy as it is, I get excited about making an "anime-specific" cosplay, and I want others to be excited about anime cosplays as well.

That's good that you don't want to get yelled at, but you had to know that saying something like that would get the response, especially since you've been informed of the rules several times. Just respect them, and it won't happen. ^_^

We practically HAVE to be rude on this subject on the forums, because if we're nice, people don't listen to us. They just assume they're the exception to the rule and all that jazz. I swear, we're not going to be bitchy to vid game cosplayer at the con, but that said...

What amazes me is that this particular person has been told this several times, and STILL made this post, and started a final fantasy cosplay thread (deleted). So it's not out of ignorance, it's either arrogance or stupidity (or trolling).

I think rather than just a Lucky Star photoshoot it might be cute to have a "Really cutesy highschool anime photoshoot". So stuff like Azumanga Daioh, Pani Poni Dash, and others could get into the mix. It would be a schoolgirl explosion!!!

On that note, maybe it would be funny to have a harem anime photoshoot at the same time as a "pimp" photoshoot or something like that. So you get Touga (utena) or Asaba (KareKano) being surrounded by 30 to 40 fine-ass bitches. It would be awesome!

I think it would be lovely if you didn't go, and I hope I never meet you. Since I have nothing to lose, I have to say I have never met a more self absorbed brat, or total drama queen. Not a bad idea at all. Cuts back on the multiplanning and lets everyone divide off into their own groups from there if they want to continue with individual series photoshoots. Perhaps leaving a span of 30 minutes of dead photoshoot time after the RCHA photoshoot to allow people to do just that wouldn't be a bad idea either.
