Title: Anime RPGs

Being that nearly every anime styled game on the shelves, (with exeption to Mega Man, and the occasional DBZ fighter), have been RPGs, whats taken stuff like GITS: Stand Alone Complex, DBZ: Sagas, Gungrave, Lupin lll and Cowboy Bebop, so long?

GITS is by Oshii, who is almost as brilliant as he is pretentious, but being so is unlikely going to try and milk his "works" with a videogame.
At the same time, all of his GITS stuff is interlocking, and involves each other. All are based on his original manga, and innocence sort of answered a lot of the unanswered. In the wake of the conceptually genius but in reality boreing .Hack saga, it is possible that Oshii would wish to further develope his world through a more interactive means.
I wonder if this game involved Oshii at all and advances the story, or if it was just made by bandai for some easy revinue, free of his influence.
DBZ sucks, you shouldn't be wanting a story based game from it. Budakai rocks, you should play it and not complain.
I thought gungrave was out already? Oh well. I thought it was more like Devil May Cry or Max Payne, which (like the GITS thing) I don't really consider an RPG. I'm probably wrong about this though.
Lupin has had many games, including an LD game (which I've actually played!). Someday they will make a really good Lupin game, until that day I will just hope for Lupin Racing. It would be like Mario Cart, except everyone would already have a weapon, or would be able to steal them from other people. Fujico could only steal from Lupin, but could make any male crash!
I can't wait until we get the Gunslinger Girl videogame. Somehow, it got rated as one of the 10 worst games for kids to play by some housewives or baptists or something. I kinda wonder how they found out about it! But the TV show was excelent (and it made me very sad), the manga (or atleast the first volume, second yet to be released...it's only been a year....) was even better, so the game should be really good!

Ive been waiting for this for a long time,so i just ordered it from japan (Same with KH final mix,and KH2)
