It's been given the green-light, Voltron's going to be adapted into a live-action movie. Because, you know, there aren't enough cartoon and comic live action adaptations yet. I don't know... I have a hard time thinking that it'll do that great. It brings up how well Transformers did this summer which is prompting studios to churn out more movies like it... Transformers has a way bigger fanbase, though, and more people actually remember the show; while Voltron doesn't conjure up much nostalgia for American audiences.
Here's the article:
Read it.I don't know, there's so many cartoon/comic to feature film transitions going on right now (and very bad turnout with a few exceptions-- V for Vendetta, Batman Begins, uhhh...?), I'm beginning to get sick of it. I'm still bitter about the casting and director for the Watchmen movie. Anyone else following that? I feel it's already doomed.
And that article also mentions another try at a Street Fighter movie? Heh, they can only dream of surpassing the 1994 masterpiece!
:P
