Title: Idea for Eva Puppet Show

OK I just had a very funny idea that I think could be used for the Eva puppet show if we are having it this year. Get this: Eva meets Blazing Saddles.

So what does everybody think.

Also Mike if you actually want to do this I better get to contribute a portion of the script.

I have some ideas about the eva puppet show myself, but I don't want to jump into anything just yet. Also with a new series, manga, and movie all coming out I want to wait and see how that effects things.

It would be fun to take things out of context though!

I just imagined something along the lines of

"All right! We'll give some land to the fanboys, and the pedophiles. But we don't want the emo kids! That means you Shinji."

Shinji: "But, but I'm the sheriff!"

As fun as the EVA puppet show is, we've done it two years running and there's a lot of venerable anime that needs to be made fun of out there. The Blazing Saddles idea sounds fun, though!

But, we have Tristan McAvery. TRISTAN MCAVERY. It'd be a sin not to do the puppet show!

Plus I don't want to do it until we do it well

Lothlin, I completely agree with you on the puppet show. We MUST do a puppet show, look how popular it is! And we have a veteran voice actor, I say we let it rip. However, I've got my heart set on an FFVII puppet show--one part education, one part parody, one part of the crack that's born only at AP--just because it's a big dramatic story like EVA and we can just go nuts with it. And everyone knows it from Advent Children and Kingdom Hearts if not the original game. I'll write the script myself. Also, I will provide paper copies for everyone involved.

In any case, we need a better puppet theatre. I'm thinking refrigerator boxes or something else large and light. The pipes and sheets take way too long to set up.

Blazing Saddles.. I don't see how that would work.

The hardest part about doing a puppet show is getting puppets. Yes one puppet easy to make for any one who knows how to cut felt and work a glue gun. But when you have about nine different charters and you have to be sure they are visibly different from one another, It always takes more time then any one wants to spend.

For this year the old script has been revamped and is complete. How ever, I completely new script is being worked. Come the 14th the best or most completed script will be used.

Any suggestions are welcomed.
