Title: FYI
Description: Heads up for all who pump gas.
sesshouga - August 7, 2007 02:27 AM (GMT)
In Florida and other places on the East Coast a group of people are putting HIV/AIDS infected and filled needles underneath gas pump handles, so when someone reaches to pick it up and put gas in their car, they get stabbed with it. 16 people have been a victim of this crime so far and 10 tested HIV positive.
Oh and on another really random note...don't allow any children you know and/or care about to go in ball pits to play. They're beyond disgusting and dangerous. I can forward anyone the e-mail I recieved regarding them if you're interested in knowing how some kids have died in them. No, I'm not kidding here.
Faery-phoenix - August 7, 2007 02:42 AM (GMT)
That is messed up, you would think they would catch people doing such things on camera. I hope it turns out to be an urban legend.
Yea those ball pits are probably disgusting, however I don't think I want to know exactly how much because I played in them when I was a kid

Please don't forward your spam here, Sessouga. That can't possibly be true. It takes nearly 6 months for people to test positive for HIV after infection, so either you're giving us really old news, or really fake news, and if it were really old news we'd have all heard about it already.
If you're ever in doubt, Snopes.com

I was going to say.
That's one of those stupid Myspace bulletins my friends insist on posting.
Centaura - August 7, 2007 07:57 AM (GMT)
I can imagine ball pits being gross, but seriously.
My friends have a habit of sending those things to me incessantly, it's such a pain in the ass.

Myspace, The quickest way to spread bullshit.
sesshouga - August 7, 2007 06:05 PM (GMT)
It actually wasn't myspace at all. I thought it was legit because my mom e-mailed it to me. I believed it anyway. I guess that's where my naive mind comes into play.
SORRY. I didn't know.
I feel really stupid now ;_;
Mishikotoko - August 7, 2007 06:09 PM (GMT)
And I thought it was myspace.
Well there goes my entertainment of trying to look at stupid things people put on it.
As for emails, good thing my mom can't really even use a computer.
sesshouga - August 7, 2007 06:13 PM (GMT)
I don't even read the bullshit that's posted on myspace. The way I see it, if it's posted on myspace, it was written by a 13 year-old who has nothing better to do with his/her life. I normally don't listen to chain letters/spam either but this one seemed legitimate because my mom sent it to me and she's actually quite intellegent most of the time.
Centaura - August 7, 2007 07:20 PM (GMT)
I saw it on MySpace. My stepmother emails that stuff to me a lot.
It's not your fault. Looking at it, at first, it seems pretty scary. Now you know to confirm things. Which, aside from preventing further chain-mailing, puts your own fears to rest. You should probably also tell your mother not to worry, since she thinks it's true.
I like MySpace mainly because it's fun to deny friends.
sesshouga - August 7, 2007 07:47 PM (GMT)
Yeah I'm definitely going to tell her when I see her next.
Oh don't get me wrong. Myspace is great for keeping in contact with friends. I just don't pay any attention to those chain bulletins XD.
