We have yet to be kicked out of a hotel. We do however keep outgrowing them. If someone DOES get us kicked out of a hotel, I will DESTROY them.

I dunno, that's just what everyone was saying. It seemed to be the general consenous and it seemed like an up tight hotel might get pissed over it.

Well, you have one thing right, the GM was very uptight about a lot of things. The concert was one of the things they had the least issue with. Before it started (when we had all the staffers in, but no normaly attendees) I showed the GM how much security we had, and after the concert talked to her again, and she seemed pretty ok with the whole thing.

The things the hotel WAS annoyed with was the hentai olympics, and they were warey about the rave because of the assholes who kept spreading rumors about drugs all convention long.

After the convention the sales rep asked us about next year, but when I mentioned our growth rate we sort of decided that a bigger hotel was in order. Hopefully this new hotel will be able to hold us for a few years, because after this our only option would be the convention center downtown, I think.


Oh, and as for the Katamari, if it had gotten us kicked out of our 2006 location, then I wouldn't have posted photos of it on the website!

Being staff IS fun! I've not staffed at AP. Maybe I will...if I can. But I've staffed at other cons and I love it!

You can get in for free, hang out with the best people, get all sorts of perks such as getting into certain events, the work is mostly fun and you can take breaks and do what you want unless you're REALLY needed which, in most cases, will not happen because there's usually enough staff to go around.
