I would like to discuss some costume ideas, I promised I wouldn't come back final fantasy or kingdom hearted.

So like whats the most popular (besides naruto) costumes in anime?
Cuz I would love to start a teen cosplay group...if i'm still alive i'll be 17 YAY.

I'm thinking of:
Rukia - bleach.
Misa - Death note.
Ringo - Air Gear.
Mamimi - FLCL.
Freya - Chobits.
Dawn - Pokemon.....or what do you think? <<<

So any ways based on how many people are coming dressed as characters from any of these shows we could start a small cosplay group, I'm more into hanging with peeps my age, but if your 20 and you don't think I say "YAY" too much then YAY we could totally be friends.

If you came dressed as Rukia, I'd be forced to hug you lol ^^

:lol: AHH yes I had a GIRL (haha i knew it) and her name is Lana (like lana lang from superman or smallville) and she's really tiny so i don't know what to do with her. (perhaps a moogle) :lol:

She'll be around one so maybe walking?? idk. tiny version of whatever i wear i guess, or tiny yuna (i have tooooooo it's too cute)

at one you probably aught not have her walking about.

my mom said i was walking at 8 months....i dont remember this >_> but how could i? haha newayz if shes up and walking then anime punch will be her first con YAY, and my mom says it's a great idea and she'll be thare too...(in the parking lot) and when lana gets tired she'll take her home...but if she's anything like me i doubt she'll get tired. :lol:

ne ways i'm already working on mamimi, and I'll start rukia in december, i got this great idea to make lana a mini soulreaper....can anyone give me the name of the little soulreaper with the pink hair? either the little pink haired one or Momo, cuz Momo is such a cute name and she's really kewl. :lol:

I would actually really recommend not bringing the child, or if you do, only having her drop by for a few minutes to show her off, then get here out of here.

It's a lot of noise and activity for a little child, and you know how crowded and rowdy things can be. It would be terrible if some idiot running down the hall slammed into you while you were carrying her or something.

thats muh plan. i may not get a room (again) for a hotel so i'm just gonna show her what pocky is then send her home with my mom. she really is like....TINY...i guess it's cuz i'm short? w/e ><. I never really walk around much I just -sit- alone. so we will eat pocky and sit and wave at the funny people<<<(as my mom likes to say)

and yes i've seen the idiots running it's like "HELLO your like 35 and running and bumping into people" it's really not that serious, some people actually think that they ARE anime characters >< (although i do admit that when i was five i use to stand like sailormoon) STILL.

OH GOODY. Lana has shown that she loves anime all ready....she loves to watch naruto.....naruto only....god i hope she gets over it, i don't wanna have to dress up with her when she wants to be a ninja. i guess she just finds naruto funny looking? she's always laughing when the show comes on.

Babies dressed up in anything are always adorable, be it cosplay, Halloween costumes, or dressy clothes. GAH CUTE!

I wanna see the baby ^o^ Yachiru (the little pink haired one from Bleach) would be ADORABLE. Another cute thought I had for a baby would be like a Pokemon. (like Pikachu or Togepi.. aww!)

But yeah, I wouldn't bring her for the whole con :/ Just long enough to show her off so I can coo over her! <3

You know I've changed my mind on my baby coming. I don't wanna plan ahead for her. I have bad luck with that ^_^.

Maybe if we have a gathering or something before the con (like we tend to) you could bring her by. We'd all love to meet her!

I've been weighing what I want to make for AP (since my list of costumes is a little game-heavy ATM,) and I may actually end up doing Simca from Air Gear. It depends a little on me getting a wig for her that doesn't break my checkbook, pretty much, but I should have some moneys after the holidays to get one.

Anyway. I will say, I won't have time to do any dedicated groups, most likely, but I would always be willing to pop up for some photoshoots ^^

I have a wig for Simca if you want to borrow it. Never worn and unstyled, but it's hella long. Like to my knees long. XD I'll even bring my Ringo cosplay. <3

I'm fairly sure I know what I'm wearing for AP, but like the wind it could change between now and February, or even between now and next week. XD

...really Cori? Would you mind if I styled it if I borrowed it, she does have that weird swallow-tail thing going on at the bottom and the crazy bangs... it might need cutting x.x

If yeah, I might take you up on the offer. Else I'll buy that new long wig Cosworx has up, 44 bucks for 37 inches with chin length bangs. Perfect for styling ;p

or what about Ume? You'd need to get a longer wig for her, but she's so cute, and making one of her puppets would be right up your ally. She's done so much less than Akito is.

I think when I do it, I'm just going to forgo the skates and make bootscovers that mimic how the top bits of the skates look. It will be easier to deal with in the halls, and look better than walking around in roller blades.

Oh, yes, I forgot about her but I would love to do her. Carrying around a puppet and all. ^^

Although if I don't cut my hair before ap, I may look fine without a wig.

You might be able to get away with your normal hair if you wear her skating outfit and keep the hood up ^^. Her problem is hair that is as long as she is tall, it's a bit ridiculous.

Heh, I should be shot for saying this, but I was kinda hoping that my hair as is would be good enough even if it wasn't that long. >.> I kinda don't want to bother with a wig.

Really! I was planning on doing Simca before I realized I made a better Ringo anyway. XD So the wig was bought with the intention for Simca, and I haven't found another use for it yet. It doesn't have any bangs though, but man is it loooong.

For the record, I tried to get Codi to do AG with me but no go so far. XP I was thinking she'd make a good Rika but eh. XD

Yay Simca wig! <3333. Lol, if we're really going to do this I may drag all my stuff up to columbus one day before the con happens and work on stuff there. It could be a fun (and maybe we could collectively poke Codi into doing Rika ;p)

Now here's a funny thought; what do you think it would take to get Mike in cosplay? It honestly wouldn't take much to dress him up as Kazu, just give him a beanie and some street clothes XD

Yeah totally, we should have a sewing party together sometime anywho! It'd be super fun I think. Now that we have a cosplay room it'd make things much easier as well.

The only downside to most Air Gear cosplay is indeed that it's very non descript unless you do certain characters like Simca or Agito/Akito, who have their one or two set outfits. Even with group uniforms it's still hard to tell sometimes the character you're doing.

Definately. Shit, I may end up there before sugoicon with some of my friends (if you guys don't mind that much XD;) We're doing some Tales of the Abyss group cosplay, right? So, I'm going to be doing my costume AND helping with at least two or three others x.x

XD I want to see Mike in a Kazu suit ;p. But really, you're right-some of the cover art is, if not quite screaming 'this character!', is distinctive at least. And Mikan, Ringo, and Ume have their skater outfits, which aren't too bad in the recognizability department.

Really, it's the boys that are pretty nondescript XD (...well, not Spitfire or Agito. Heh)

Holy crap, I was digging around cosplay.com and look what I found. A tutorial for making Air Trecks (not with the motor, alas, but the general shape and such.) I know there's a pair of old ice skates floating around my house somewhere, oh man, if I can get those next time I head back home and use my dad's tools to get the tracks and wheels attached... DUDE. Would my Simca cosplay not be the most badass of badassiest skater cosplays EVER?

:angry: I was off color Agito at the last AP no one remembers me and I was staff. This year I will have the wig and eye patch done for the con.

Well to get on the original question for the topic. I'm going to go as Kyoraku Shunsui from Bleach for one of the days of the con....the other two days I have set up for my Shikamaru costume which will hopefully be making a comeback and my Fate/Stay night Archer outfit.
