This show is TOTALLY AWSUM. I think we should have this showing at least once in one of the rooms. The violance is sure to corupt at least one innocent mind. XD

Also the thread I started was made with the intention of all the request for 08 video room showings to go there unless Mike wants a request thread for each show.

Y'know, misplaced or not, I still approve; I was going to suggest this, and I think Chuck agreed with me. I know a good amount of people who haven't actually seen it (and up until last sunday, when I went out and bought the box set, I was counted amoung those people.)

It wouldn't hurt to put it up on the list of possibilities.

Elfen Lied is a great show, but then I guess another issue would have to be taken into consideration: it's definately not appropriate for people of all ages. It'd have to be shown reeeaaaalllllyyy late at night...

It's actually a lot easier for me to skim all this when working on con stuff if each idea has its own topic. This goes double for events, but doesn't hurt at all for videos.

We showed elfen lied last year possibly the year before and maybe even in 2005. It's a favorite of staff, and I don't have a big problem with showing it again. That being said, if we have a lot of new stuff it will get bumped.

Lothlin, you're forgetting what convention this is! I have no problem with showing a naked catgirl slaughtering dozens of innocent people at 2pm in the afternoon! This is why we have a designated "kids safe room", because the other rooms are fair game the entire time!

It was definatly played in '06, i remember cause i stumbled onto it late at night. XD It scarred me for life.

It was shown last year? Huh, for some reason, Chuck thought we hadn't. (Still, you're right, it's always good for the adult room ;p)

At the last con I was at they were showing it late at night but were checking ID's due to the violence and nudity. Possibly would it be allowed if there was ID checking? ^_^

I was going to suggest it too and have been meaning to reply but haven't really thought of anything to really input till now. (and I did the same haha, bought the whole box set a couple weeks ago and watched it.)

but yeah, i think it's definitely worth showing cuz it fills a few things that are well looked for in anime . . . naked girls and vicious slaughters that leave blood on the floor, walls and ceiling.
