See this comes to mind as I recently had a friend over who nearly DIED when they saw how cluttered my desktop was. In all reality I prefer a little mess to anything, but I had been in the middle of a big project and left all the clips on the desktop to find them easier. What are your guys opinions?

I try and keep my desktop as clean as possible and keep my files organized in general. The actual desktop of the desk on which my computer sits however, is a different story. Its cluttered with papers, pens, PC games and their cases and a Darth Vader action figure. :lol:

Sometimes, I have a couple hundred files on my desktop and have to spend a few hours sorting them all out to the proper places and folders.

I do the same thing you do. When working on a movie or anything, I keep the music, sound effects, all that jazz on the desktop. Cause I'd never find them otherwise.

Right now about 1/3rd of my Desktop is covered in files and folders, so eh. A little mess. Sometimes all mess. Sometimes no mess.

So, I'll just go with the "Who Cares?" option.

The thing is with my computer, is it's not really mine. It's just mine by default, since everyone else has a laptop. But a lot of stuff is from everyone is on mine.

So while I try to keep everything organized, I'm the only one, so it's pretty messy!
