Title: 18 is too young..
Description: to die.

LittleNicoleLost - June 19, 2007 03:09 AM (GMT)
It's that simple.

I should NEVER have to turn on the radio and hear a friends name read off in a new report. No one should have to hear that at the age of 18 someone they knew died. Died in a stupid accident because he was driving his new motorcycle too fast and he wasn't paying close enough attention.

People shouldn't die young. They haven't had time to do with their lives what they're meant to yet. They still have so much to live for.

People should just live until all they've worked for is done. No unfinished business.

People that loved them.. should be able to say..

"They led a full and happy life."

He shouldn't have died. :'(

Life sucks, get a helmet

Ouch.

While Lilith should not have put it so bluntly he does raise a good point about motorcycle safety. Always wear a helmet. He is also right about life sucking major ass.

Still life is fleeting it can go away at any moment. Do we typically want to see our friends and loved ones live long peaceful lives and to pass away painlessly in their old age? Of course. Sadly life does not work that way.

I hate to say it but your friend could not have had too bad a life no matter how short. To be 18 and have a motorcycle is pretty lucky. Despite getting killed before being able to enjoy it much.

I think you are putting to much value on life. I could die tomorrow and it would probably be a blessing my only regret would be all the anime I was unable to watch during my stay on Earth.

i already have

you used the word 'should have' and 'meant to'

i hate them, and i hate people that use them in this regard

The girl is obviously upset, Smokie, this isn't the time for lectures on what to value or not. In short, grow up.

Hey Steve, guess who's the fuckup college dropout who just crossed a line and got himself banned?

LittleNicoleLost - June 19, 2007 09:54 PM (GMT)
Wow, since when can't a guy save up since he was 16 to get the bike he always wanted.

And he was wearing a helmet. He was found with blood pooling inside of it.

One of the paper's seemed to think they could put that picture in the paper Monday.

Thanks Mike.

Note: People who even deign to hate people they've never met for reasons that seem petty without explanation are even smaller than they first appeared to be.

I'm sorry to hear for your loss, and I agree that's too young as well.

However, don't think of what he wasn't able to do with his life, but what he did do in the short time he was granted on this earth. I know it's hard to think that way (I speak from early loss too :( ), and it's hard to think positively in such a situation. But, it's what the person would want you to think, I think. It's not worth lamenting what wasn't done ("What if, what if?"), but cherishing what did happen and keeping that with you forever.

I hear of this happening all the time, and yet I still want a motorcycle.
