I have one cat which is quite talented in that area...

Feral kitties or kitties that grew up feral are nice for that. Nothing lives in my house for long, we don't even need a fly swatter.

Anyway, try a mouse trap?

But I don't like mouse traps. Some of them are much crueler than feeding it to a cat. Like the sticky ones that just sort of hold it there till you find it.

We have them everywhere, Nicole, and thus why we have so many mice traps, and poison for them in the basement.

Just get the good old fashioned kind that come down and break em in half. They work the best.

Better idea:

1. Get something like the Humane Live "No Kill" Smart Mouse Trap (or this idea, if you're cheap).
2. Capture Mouse.
3. Select victim.
4. Release mouse into it's new habitat (victim's place).
5. ????
6. Profit.

For Bonus Points: Between steps 3 and 4 add fleas carrying the Bubonic Plague to the rodent.

I can't lend you any cats, but I'm told I'm a pretty good mouse-eater, if you're interested.
