A panal about anime as video games, the releases this year, and whether they actually do make good games to play.

I'd particulary be interested in the ds area of this. >.> Other then ds, I wouldn't know the subject matter well enough to speak on that, but if there is room for an obsessive ds player I'd love to be panalist on this myself.

I think that's a good idea.

I love the DS. My DS lite goes everywhere. Sometimes my teachers let me play it in class too.

You would have to variety it up a little bit, I see most anime turned into PS2/3 games.

How about games and movies?! Horrible idea, but do they really sell to those interested? Movies turned into games that is.

Example: Spiderman[the movie games, not original], Shreck, etc? Action movies turned into video games? Interests in regular people?

I play a lot during the school day. I even have a teacher who doesn't care if I play instead of playing attention. >.> I don't do that too much though...

Although it's not really the anime focus, I like your thinking. ^_^ And there is just so many ways to expand from there!

Don't video games that tie in with movies or shows typically suck though. Anime related even. I heard about this Kujibiki Unbalance game and it got a horrible review.

That's the thing! Although there have been plenty of bad games, some of them are good. Most of the time the games are looked at and reviewed by non-fans who don't get the same thing out of the game that fans do(example, Pokemon Ranger).

This would be looking at the game from a fan's perspective and saying if we really feel that they are good games or honestly suck.

But the video games have to be bad quality because no one ever really buys them. Why spend big bucks on the game when no one is going to really buy it?

Except people do buy them, and there have been some good games out there. Maybe not for every damn thing they make a video game for, but some do. Anime based games especially, and superhero movie games tend to do well.

I suppose Super Robot Wars does well. I've never played any but I hear nothing but good things.

They're not as good as they could be, though.

I've seen and played some of the superhero games, and they're so unappealing. :[

I'd never own it though.
