Title: Miccy Made AMVs? Has the world ended!?
Description: In fact, no!

I got bored with all the anime my friends were giving me a long while ago, and besides the AMV I work on, I put together a matter of stuff, but I get embarassed sometimes because it's normally footage I've done of just me. Yes, I have things before the following, but they were just testing the software that I've been using. I have Ulead, but I only use it to tweek things because though it's FAR MORE better than WM, but WM makes it easier with clips, Ulead doesn't provide that, and it should be used more for video, and not AMV clips, unless I'm tweeking like I mentioned.

I even made a Protomen music video of all the footage I got, and it would be fucking awesome, but it's not loaded. I can take images from the footage I take w/ my video camera, though the quality is crappy, I really like it.

I have learned that I can use a memory card on my video camera, and collect footage from it, and it comes out very clear, and can hold just as much as a DVDRW can hold in my videocamera. [That Ralph currently has!]

Anyway, I don't know how well they're all done, but here are my two actual videos I've made.

The Haruhi video was made a month or two ago, and the Higurashi video was made last weekend, while awaiting my crutial fate.

They're actually not that bad, and since they're not action AMVs, they're not put to heavy rock or metal music and horrible fighting scenes. I put a lot of thought into the song and anime before I decided to use them.

Enjoy.

My Higurashi AMV shall fight yours in a battle royale showdown of the ages!

That is when I finally finish it D:

I think I need to kill for the Raw footage in a NOT Avi format so I can chop it up and finalize things.

Not bad. Clearly very amature works, but there are more than a few good calls directoraly in them.

I think if you spent a little more time planning them out, and focusing on what you're trying to do/say with them they'll get pretty good. Also you have a long way to go technically, but that comes with time and experience (and better software :P)

Thanks Mike!

I am amature, I just started a few months ago, and it's only my 4th attempt at an AMV. But I do thank your opinion, at least your honest, and I note that with every post. <3

@ Nicole: I love you. And I will watch your AMV now! :3

I liked them. They're really good for your first. I've ony made one AMV and I'm actually really proud of it. I'm working on another one now though but it won't be done for a while since I have to figure out some good subtitling software. (The song is in Spanish and I'd like everyone to be able to enjoy it so I'm going to add subs when I'm done ^^)

But this one's in good ol' English. What do y'all think? It was my first also, so I know it's not great or anything...but I like it ^_^
