Description: Anybody else a fan?

Hey am I the only person who knows of and likes this show? I know Mike probably dislikes it for the sole fact the group that subbed it is Shinsen Subs. His anticipated naysaying aside its a pretty good show.
It would remind you of Bleach or Yu Yu Hakusho except it is much darker and more serious. I think it pwns Bleach.
My only complaint is that the animation is not the greatest. In the episode 14 it downright sucks ass.
Despite that its a fun show with great characters, a deep plot, and plenty of action and humor. There is also a great deal of shipping involved by fans. It rivals any Harry Potter, Gundam Wing or Naruto shipping. It includes yuri and yaoi in a limited manner. Plus the opening and ending songs are some badass j-rock from a band called ACID.
Plus a second season is starting in July. I'm pretty excited about it.
If you are interested in watching it you can find torrents at fansub.tv or at the Shinsen Subs site.

I don't dislike the show for the fansubber! I'll check it out when it comes out on DVD.
Shipping? I'm not familiar with that term.

Shipping is when fans support relationships between certain characters. Shipping coming from relationSHIP.
More infoSadly Mike I doubt it will ever come to North America on DVD. It would be awesome if it did but I don't see it as happening. Although I could be wrong and hope I am. If they got decent voice actors it would prove to be something very awesome and it could probably do well on Adult Swim.
I mean the show has everything. Antique salesman ninjas, strawberry milk, and what in an RPG would be called the Hoody of Holding. How cool is that?

I dunno, everything seems to be getting picked up these days so if it's a decent show I wouldn't be surprised if it did.

Mike you were right not to be surprised. It just got licensed by ADV.

Indeed. Tokyo Majin completely rocked my evening at SugoiCon this year. My friend said, "I've really been looking forward to this.. you should come!" And the main reason I agreed was because I dragged her to Air Gear, but GEEZ.. YES.. We sat through the first 4 episodes nonstop and only left before the 5th one started because we didn't want to get left with another cliffhanger -_-'.
Anime wise, it was my absolute favorite showing at Sugoi this year; and yes. I looked up and bought the soundtrack <3. ACID completely melts faces with a sense of justice experienced nowhere else in the continental US. (exaggerated a bit, but still rocks souls regardless.)

You forgot the rooftop wailing early-on in the series. You can never forget about the rooftop wailing.

OMG! Where did you find the soundtrack? ACID rocks my socks off but last time I looked there was nothing much about them on the net.

Verily verily I say unto thee.. you ask and I shall deliver.. (most of the time; a hell of a lot better than the pizza places around here at least.)
