Title: Great place for groceries
Description: more than 2 types of pocky

Alright asian food junkies. Dropping this line to let you all know that I found this great asian supermarket called Asian Supermarket. Haha. It is one of the biggest that I have seen here in columbus so far. And they carry a ton of inexpensive products. They even have a small produce section and a seafood area. And just to tell the Pocky Fans at there, they even carry 4 or 5 varieties of Pocky amoungst other asian favorite snacks. Plus a binus was the entire aisle of already prepared Ramen/noodle/rice bowls.

It is here in Dublin, on Dublin-Grandville Rd. across the street from the shopping center where Whole Foods is located. Located in the same shopping plaza as Burlington Coat factory.

Awesome store...even bought something I had never seen and that is an Aloe Vera drink. It was quite tasty.

Check it out and let me know what you think about it. My new favorite place to shop. Got to love those red bean buns.

I want... red bean buns... I used to eat those every time I went to a certain Chinese restaurant, but they got rid of them. I guess because no one really was trying to warm up to the deliciousness that they are.
I'm sure Lexington has an asian market somewhere, we have an Indian supermarket/movie rental store on Euclid and I've seen a few Middle-Eastern markets... I haven't seen any east-asian grocery stores.
We have an international aisle at Meijer?

Meijer just doesn't have the same feel as walking into an actually asian market.

btw, great use for Mr. Grainger's head.

In Columbus at the Kenny Centre on Kenny and Henderson there is an Asian market (Seafood Japan) as well as Hana Gifts, which has all sorts of Asian crap and a great manga selection, a bootleg asian video store, a nice Japanese restaurant, a Japanese Bakery, and I think one or two other Japanese things.

oooh...japanese bakery, i'm so there.
need to find someone that makes Dango

KaiserMikeB - April 20, 2007 07:11 AM (GMT)
The grocery store there has a new noodle place attached to it and I think you can get Dango there.

There's also several other Asian markets in the area. There's one on Bethel Rd, between Linworth and GoDown. I like that one alot. There's also a tea house in the same plaza that serves bubble tea. The asian market is called Columbus Asian Market, I believe. I'm not exactly sure. But there's actually alot of asian markets in the Columbus area.

hey Kala, I love the teas house on Bethel that has the bubble drinks. it is awesome. there is a big district i believe in upper arlington that has a bunch of japanese business together. haven't gone there yet, but may make a trek there soon.

That's cool to know. I'm slightly tempted to head over to the tea house for some bubble tea tonight or over the weekend at some point. It's much closer then Momo's for me.
